"Tell me what else it could have been." Sam says as the Winchester men bicker. To be fair, I'm more than happy to pipe in but right now they seem to be doing just fine on their own. So I just sit opposite Sam quietly as I read through the literal bible.

"All I know is that I was not groped by a damn angel." Dean says bitterly.

"Okay look Dean, why do you think this 'Castiel' would lie to you?" Sam follows, obviously getting agitated. I should probably step up and speak soon.

"Maybe it was a demon. Demons lie." Dean snaps as he continues pacing. Sam, still annoyed, rolls his eyes. "A demon who's immune to salt rounds? Devil's traps? And Ruby's knife!? Dean, Lilith is scared of that thing."

"Don't you think that if angels were real, we would know about it by now? Some hunter surely would have seen one but there's nothing." Dean points out and I sigh, shaking my head and standing up. All attention is now on me.

"How is it so hard for you to believe in this? In God? I know we've all had a shit up bringing but Dean, it isn't that damn hard to have a little faith. Excuse me if I sound like a damn preacher but dammit Dean." I sigh and shake my head. "You know I go to church, right? Every Sunday with Katie and every time I'm about to go into a risky surgery. Faith... it's what got me through five years without my brothers so excuse me if I'm a little annoyed with your bullshit at the moment." I take another deep breath and pick up my beer.

"Now on that note, I'm going for a few days. Katie needs me." They look at me as if I have two heads but they don't try and stop me, knowing that they'd probably get slapped because I'm obviously not in a good mood.

An hour on the road and I get a call from Bobby. Informing me that yes, it most definitely was angels and yes, my brothers definitely are dumbass. Not in those words but I know dumbass when I hear it so it didn't take much. "Thanks Bobby, I shouldn't be too long. Hit the boys on the heads with a book for me while I'm gone, Okay?" I say, pretty much hearing the smirk and eye roll it produces from Bobby. "Yeah yeah, see ya later kid." He hangs up and I'm left to drive in silence once again.

Another five minutes and I'm getting called again, not from bobby as I first assumed but rather Katie. "Katie what's-"

"Mia? Mia, someone is in the house." She says, hyperventilating and by the sounds of things, crying.

"Katie, hide. Call the police I'll be there as soon as I can." I say, slamming my foot on the pedal. Seconds later I hear her scream and somehow I'm at the house, standing right in front of Katie who is now being held hostage by a demon.

The demon falters for a moment but I'm too confused as to how I got there to even make a move like I usually would. "Nice if you to drop by. So much more fun for you to witness it." The demon says and with a quick jerking movement, snaps my girlfriend of almost two years' neck.

The next series of events confuse me even more. I scream in pain, running over to Katie as the demon attacker spontaneously bursts into flames.

I stay holding onto Katie for what seems like forever. I know it was at least a couple hours because it's now dark. My phone is ringing. It has been for a while but I really really dont want to. Looking down at the number I sigh, wiping my tears from my puffy red eyes. It was dean. And all my missed calls were either him, Bobby or Sam.

"Yeah." I answer in a very croaky voice.

"Mia! What the hell you scared the shit out of me! Where are you? Why didn't you answer?"

"I-I'm at home.... Katie she- she- can you come pick me up?" I breathe out, on the verge of crying again.

"Uh, yeah... I guess? Why can't you drive?"

"Dean, please just.... it's a long story."

"Okay. Well I'll be there soon I guess." He says and then hangs up.

There are a few things I'm now sure of.
One: that I won't be moving from this spot until dean drags my ass out.
Two: something was going on. Something big. Big enough they could get through the warnings I had on my house.
Three: I'm going to have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers.
