James's P.O.V
The next day I was full of nervousness as I was preparing dinner for four people not including myself. This could be good though, for Aaron is bringing his daughter, Theodosia, over.
Beatrice will get her first new friend.
What could go wrong? I wondered while cooking and baking, as I was doing so Thomas answered the knock at the door. I heard Aaron come in and greet Thomas then he introduced his daughter who was basically the a few months older than Beatrix.
He greeted me to and I gave him a nod, I heard Thomas and Aaron talk as the babies play together, or at least that's what I assumed was going on. Once I was done and waiting for everything to fully bake and cook in the oven, I go into the living room and sit with everyone.
I felt awkward at first but as I watched how well Theodosia and Beatrice I felt a bright happiness in my heart.
Sometimes I wonder what my daughter is thinking....
