Brett's POV
I watched as my mate and her sister fell to the porch. My wolf whimpered wanting to go make sure our mate was ok. They only fainted from the shock of us being werewolves. They began to stir Skye sitting up first looking at us with fear in her eyes. Would my mate look at me with fear the thought alone was painful. My beautiful mate sat up and grabbed her sisters hand. I could see them both slightly tremble and it made me whimper again. They both got up and ran into the house. My mate ran away."God what if she rejects us" my wolf howled sadly as pain erupted in my chest at the thought.
Skye's POV
After we came to we looked at all the wolves in front of us and then ran into the house. We are currently locked up in my room. I am trying to figure out a way to get away from this house and the monsters within. This is way worse than a damned cult.
"We have to run away" I said to Skyler
"You heard them Skye. We are the same as them" Skyler whispered
"If we where then why can't we turn into wolves then" I countered
"Well...ummmm....I don't know" She said while she stood up and went to the door.
"Where are you going" I yelled as she walked out the door.
"To get some answers" she replied
Damnit I thought as I walked out the door. She's right we need answers and we need them now not later. I still haven't figured out who is after us but I know the answers are here somewhere. I followed Skyler to Marks office. She knocked and just walked in. Uh oh she's mad I thought as we sat in the chairs across from him.
"Explain Now" Skyler said in a firm voice.
I looked at him with curiosity as my hand slightly trembled. I have a right to be scared this man could kill me at any point.
Mark cleared his throat before he began to speak. "Well you know that we are werewolves. You won't have your first shift until midnight, which is why I told you. You are both witches as well but your powers are dormant until you turn seventeen as well. The mystery as to why Meredith wants you dead is still a mystery.
"What who is Meredith?" I ask
"Meredith is one of the strongest hybrids of black magic. She is like you both part wolf part witch. She killed your mother and father for your mothers powers. As of right now we are not even sure she knows Lilith has children. That works in our favor. Grace my love would you care to explain where some of the answers might be found." he said looking at his wife.
"Call the boys first. We will need to explain it to them all." she said with a smile.
I looked to see Skyler blush slightly and look at her hands in her lap. What the hell I thought im gonna have to ask her about that later. Ten minutes later in walked both the guys. They where tall and had defined muscles. They has grey eyes and looked like male models that stepped right off the runway, they most definitely where hot.
"Sit boys" their mother told them. I was curious as to why they even needed to be here.
"I will start with what I know about your mother and aunt" she began. "I knew then years ago. We where all best friends. We where in the same pack. They learned like you girls are now that they are witches. Of course growing up in a pack they knew they where werewolves. They where the Alphas daughters and I was the betas daughter. You both have very good genes. Your father was the Alpha of a neighboring pack and found his mate your mother at a council meeting. Its also the same with your aunt as well as me. We all meet our mates that way"
"Wait, what are mates?" Skyler asked.
"Well your mate is your other half your soulmate" she said "The perfect person who completes you."
"Oh" we said in unison.
After listening to everything she had to say we slowly made our way up to my room so we could talk. According to Grace its going to be a long night. At midnight we will shift into wolves and gain our powers.
"I'm scared Skyler" I said as I laid down on my bed.
"Me too Skye" she replied laying down next to me. "We will get through this"
"I hope so." I whispered grabbing her hand. We only had two hours until midnight.
"God bless a horny toad I forgot about our cake, I have to go finish it" I yelled as I ran out the bedroom door to the kitchen. When I got there I saw Brett's brother taking a slice. "NOOOOOOOOO" I yelled running to our cake. I couldn't help it I punched him square in the nose hearing the crunch. My chest hurt after punching him I dropped to my knees it hurt so bad. I looked up at him while he held his nose cursing under his breathe.
"What the fuck was that for" he asked as he glared at me.
"That was our birthday cake asshat" I yelled back at him.
"Oh" was all he said before walking out of the kitchen. Damnit I had to start all the way fucking over. Two hours and I shift. "DAMNIT" I yelled and I walked around to gather what I needed. Its gonna be a long fucking night.
