"I want the little witches found now" I yelled at my guards. I was beyond mad that Skye had somehow excepted from the cell. I need them both so I can drain their magic and rule the world. I want the world to be in complete chaos. I smiled to myself at the thought. I want to be the strongest witch alive. I killed their mother and aunt thinking they where the ones who held the power that is so strong running through their veins. I was wrong and until Skye and Skyler walked right into my daughters pretend pack, I did not know they even existed until Amber called and told me.
"Yes Luna" they said bowing their pathetic heads to me then turning to do my bidding. I walked towards the dungeon to the oracle I captured years ago. "Where are they" I asked her with venom seething out of my voice. She just looked at me and smiled. She never answers me and it gets on my nerves. Her lack of respect is disgraceful. I open the cell and walk over to her and slap her hard across her face making her head jerk to the side. She just looked at me and said "Your days are numbered you black hearted bitch" then laughed. I only saw red and I snapped her neck ending her life.
"I will find them" I vowed. Stomping up to my room.
Skye's POV
I woke up with a headache and Skyler right next to me. I guess she fell asleep next to me last night. I tried to sit up but I got dizzy. I thought werewolves where supposed to heal fast I grumbled in my head. "I am trying Skye, they used a lot of silver and acid" Rain whimpered. "Omg I am sorry Rain I know you are trying" I said back to her. "We need our mate" she whined back to me. "No we don't" I whined back. She just whimpered in my head. "Look he has not been very nice to us Rain. He rejected us after we shifted even tho I really don't understand what that means other than he doesn't want us. I'm just not ready to deal with him just yet" I tried to explain only to have her retreat and not talk to me again. Great I made her mad. I thought as I again tried to sit up.
The door opened and the doctor came in with none other than Jaxon. Well shitballs I thought as I looked into his grey eyes and felt the butterflies in my stomach. Rain perked up "I want to run with Ryder" she yelped happily. "Who the hell is Ryder" I asked her. "His wolf" was her grinning reply. Jaxon just stared at me with a grin that made the whole room light up. Why did he have to be so damn sexy I thought. Skyler sat up next to me rubbing her eyes thankfully bringing me back to my senses. I shook my head getting all the dirty images out.
"You look much better" the doctor smiled at me. "You still have to stay here for a few more days though because you where dehydrated and almost starved. Not to mention the amount of silver we had to remove from your body. In all honesty I cant even believe you are still alive" he stated.
"Well thanks Doc" I muttered sarcastically. That brought a manly chuckle out of Jaxon's sexy mouth and a light moan out of mine that made his eyes darken with lust? I must have imagined it. Right? Well if the lust that is now running through my lower regions is a clear indicator the low growl that escaped his sexy mouth was. Great now I am completely turned on. I felt my face heat up as he chuckled again sending a pleasant shiver down my body.
Skyler lend in to whisper in my ear "Give him a chance" She giggled as she got out of the bed leaving me in the room with the two males. I shifted around on the bed getting uncomfortable under Jaxon's stare. The Doctor cleared his throat "Well I will leave you two alone. I will be back later to check on you" he said leaving the room. I groaned and looked down at my hands trying my hardest to ignore the butterflies swarming my stomach.
"I'm sorry Skye" Jaxon began "I don't reject you" he said.
I just continued looking at my hands. I felt the all to shocking sparks as he lifted my chin making me look at him. I couldn't help looking at his lips and licking my own. He let out a low growl that only made the butterflies intensify. I looked up into his eyes to see him also staring at my lips and that caused me to lick them again. We stayed like that for about five minutes until we heard someone clear their throat. I felt the heat rise in my cheeks as I looked toward the door and see Skyler beaming at me.
"Am I interrupting something " she smiled at me. The memory of that weird dream came back to me. "No, but we have to talk. Our brother will be here soon." I said. Skyler looked at me with a sad face. "He died when our parents died Skye." she said sadly. I shook my head. "No he's alive" I reply and began to tell them what that woman told me. Jaxon's jaw dropped when I was done. "What" I say to him. "You met the moon goddess" he said in disbelief. I just shrugged my shoulders because she never told me who she was. "What's Moon Magic" Skyler asked. Again I shrugged because I didn't know.
I was released a couple of days later thank god I was getting so bored being in the hospital. I needed to stretch my legs and Rain has been bugging me to let her run. I walked out of the hospital with Jaxon never leaving my side. As we where about to exit he twined his fingers with mine. The fireworks that shot up my arm was electrifying. I looked at him dumbfounded. Hes never shown me any affection. Why now. I really need to tell him about Amber. "Umm... h hey I need to tell you something and its really gonna piss you off but I need you to listen" I get out studying his face to see a confused look. He nodded at me to continue. I cleared my throat "AmberisMeredith'sdaughter" I quickly mumbled looking down at the ground. The loudest growl I ever heard erupted from his mouth he was shaking with anger so bad he shifted and ran off into the woods leaving me staring his direction.
"Shift now follow our mate" Rain sounded destressed. I did as she told me to letting her take over and lead the way.
