Once and for All

The four years they were together were the best years of their lives. 11 years old na sina Lawson, Xign, Nano, Alli and Yvo while the rest are ten. And those four years were never boring. There was never a dull moment when they are together. It was really eventful considering all the things they did for fun. They were never scared to venture too far.

They were their parents' angels with horns, after all.

Kasalukuyang nasa masquerade ball sila sa isang magarbong mansion sa kagubatan. Their parents were invited by a tycoon and they tagged along. Besides, it's an excuse na magkasamasama nanaman sila muli kahit magkakasama lang sila noong isang araw.

"Let's go!" they all cheered nang matapos ang dinner. The adults are busy doing their thing so it's up to them to entertain themselves as long as they stay in sight. But knowing them, they'd do the exact opposite.

They wished they obeyed their parents though.

If only they knew how the night would end.

They all settled at the basement. Nang mag-uwian ay agad na hinatak ni Nano ang mga kaibigan na makapunta sa hideout. Van was about to say something before they left and inaaya pa sila nila Jéan, James, at Ramses to chill out pero masyadong nagmamadali si Nano. Saying that there are more important matters at hand.

The fact that they are settling at the basement means that it's important. Medyo matagal na rin mula nung huling silang nagtipon dito. They were all busy with their own lives di gaya noong mga nakaraan na buwan na lagi silang naroon upang pag-usapan ang mga agenda nila. When even was their last agenda?

"I found it."

"Found what?" tanong ni Jane.

"This," Nano slid the chips at the table.

Agad silang sumeryoso. It was the chip they found at Yvo's car and surprisingly at Lawson's. Silang dalawa pa lang ni Yvo ang nakakaalam doon sa kay Lawson. It would add to the confusion once the others find out but they need to know.

Mauungkat na naman ang nakaraang ayaw na nilang balikan.

"Three? Akala ko dalawa lang yung nakuha sa race track?" kunot noong tanong ni Lyian.

Nag-alangan pang sumagot si Nano pero kailangan nilang malaman. No more sugarcoating this time.

"We found another one at Reál Ange." Nano answered.

"Where exactly?" tanong naman ni Xign.

"Lawson's." Nano sighed. He too, doesn't understand why there is a chip there.

"What?" sabay sabay na reaksyon ng lima.

Of all places, why Lawson's? Why can't they just let them be?!

"Kailan nyo pa nalaman?" Clio asked with a creased forehead and heaved a heavy breath.

"The day we visited Lawson."

"And you didn't even bother to tell us sooner?!" napatayo na si Alli.

"I needed to confirm first, okay? We can't just draw conclusions lalo na't hindi pa tayo sigurado."

"Calm down, guys, hindi dapat tayo nagpapadalos-dalos." Xign tapped Nano's shoulder, "Sooner or later they'll find out na wala na yong chip doon sa Reál Ange. We need to be careful they'll probably look for who it is."

"Why are you all keeping secrets?! Don't you even trust us? What are we for then?!" Jane slammed her fists at the oak table.

"Janey, you know it's not like that." Xign said.
