Reasons

Nakatali ang mga kamay at paa nila at tila sako lang ng basura kung itapon sa isang madilim na kwarto.

They started crying quietly. Takot na baka saktan sila kapag gumawa sila ng ingay. After  witnessing a man die in front of their eyes they know the people who took them won't hesitate on killing them.

"I'm scared," Ales cried along with the others.

"We'll get out of here..." Xign promised.

Ang liwanag lang buwan mula sa mataas na bintana ang nagsilbing ilaw sa kanila. The crystals that adorned them still shone with the moombeams.

That's when Lawson and Nano had an idea.

For some reason Lyian wasn't excited on dressing up. Ngayon na ang dinner na sinabi ni Drake. Nakapagpaalam na rin sya and to her surprise alam na ng mga magulang nya ito. They also seem supportive about it.

Kanina pa sya nakatayo sa walk-in closet nya. Kung dati na she always have an outfit in mind but now, wis. Nada.

"Lyianna Ingrid! What's taking you so long?!" rinig na rinig nyang sigaw ng Mommy nya.

Kanina pa dapat sya nakaalis kaya tinawag na ng Mommy nya si Yvo. Parang out of place pa ang damit nito. She's wearing gray sweatpants and an oversized pullover which came in striking contrast with Lyian's room.

It's too dainty. Too pink. Too Lyianna Ingrid.

"Oh my god, just grab a dress so I can leave," diretso higa ni Yvo sa kama ni Lyian. Even the bed is too soft for her liking. Para syang nakahiga sa cotton candy.

"Aren't you here to help me?!"

"I'm here for free food," Yvo munched on the chocolate bar she got from Tita Leandra.

This is why she's my favorite Tita.

Pag nasa bahay kasi sya nakabantay ang Mommy nya. Kesyo tataba daw sya at mahihirapan magkaron ng suitor. As if she's interested in her "suitors". Hanggang ngayon problemado pa rin sya dahil sa huli nyang blind date.

Because none followed after that.

Nang magtagal ay nainip na si Yvo at bumangon na.

"Tabi," sabi nya while rummaging Lyian's closet. The hell? Halos kalahati ng laman nito ay hindi pa nasusuot! Yung iba ay nasa paperbag pa!

Yvo just grabbed a pink Gucci floral cap sleeved dress that reaches below the knee and a pair of Jimmy Choos tsaka hinagis kay Lyian habang kagat kagat yung chocolate bar nya.

"Done."

"You the best talaga Cousin Yvo!" Lyian hugged her.

"Yeah, yeah, hurry up I still have to do your brows."

"Marunong kaya ako!"

"Marunong magsmudge? No, thank you."

"Hater! Hmp!"

Inayusan na nga ni Yvo si Lyian. Pero imbis na sobrang daldal nito na kailangan nya pa itong batukan ay taliwas ngayon. Masyado itong tahimik. It's unnerving.

Sarap sakalin.

"Ganyan ba talaga pag brokenhearted?"

"Tss, wag mo nga ipaalala sakin."
