It was their cue to make a move pero bago pa man nila magawa iyon ay tinutukan sila ng mga nakamaskarang tauhan.

"This night just got a lot more interesting." he grinned then faced the man he was talking to awhile ago, "Change of plans, only the bomb at the entrance shall explode. I have something better in mind,"

"But—" one of the men said pero bago pa man matapos nito ang pagtutol ay bumagsak na ito sa lupa at naligo sa sariling dugo.

It was a perfectly placed shot on the chest. Nakaawang pa rin ang bibig nito sa lupa mula sa pagsasalita ngunit imbis na mga salita ay ang masaganang daloy ng dugo ang lumabas dito.

Ibinaba ng kausap ng lalaki ang baril. It was the young guy from earlier.

Sa hideout sila agad dumiretso matapos non. They waited until Lyian regained consciousness but they gave up dahil mukhang lasing na lasing nga ito, and thank God she didn't throw up on their way to the hideout.

"What did she drink anyway?"

"Alli and I left some moonshine there so..." napakamot ng batok si Xign.

"Idiot! You know Newbie is on the loose! Don't you know moonshine is basically poison?!" Yvo hissed.

"I thought it was going to end well! I'm sorry, okay!" Xign raised his hands in surrender, Alli just looked away, "Damn, I'm gonna kill that popstar when I see him."

Lalong nag-init ang ulo ni Yvo dahil dito. Hindi naman ito nito kasalanan na hindi sya nito gusto, pero kahit na! There's something that might have led Lyian on!

Yvo glanced at Nano, ni hindi man lang sya nito sinuklian ng tingin. Sigh.

Hindi naman nya ayaw dito. She just doesn't know how to feel. They've been friends since time immemorial! If she'd be really honest, she had caught up with his feelings before but she didn't want to believe it.

God, this is so fucking awkward.

After a while ay nagpaalam na si Nano na magpunta sa database. Must be to work on Lawson's case or maybe just to avoid her.

Clio was in a daze. She's torn with Lawson's case and Tray Lark's. Not to mention exam period is coming and college entrance exams too, she needs to review if she wants to get into  Grimaldi Advanced Program.

"Bitch." she called Alli's attention while making breakfast.

She's been drained and sleepless these past few days. She sat at the one of the stools at the nook habang si Alli ay namimili ng lulutuin sa cupboard.

"Pitch."

"Get me Chamomile tea."

"I'm not your maid!"

"I'll kick you out of the hideout." Clio rolled her eyes, "Arte arte, iaabot lang naman."

Alli stomped her feet as she gave it. Clio got a small thermos and filled it with hot water tapos ibinulsa yung packet nung tea at mga sachet ng sugar.

"I'm going out."

"Good. Don't come back."

"Tss."

"Where are you going anyway?"

"None of your biz."

"Hmp! Get back before lunch!"  she heard Alli shout.
