even the earth needs self care

It rained on Earth Day this year. A lot of people found it very "Inconvenient." Maybe Earth needed a day to herself. Maybe she thought she'd have the most luxurious shower, give herself her most basic needs and call it self care. Everyday she gives life while being forcefed death. Everyday she gives and gives and gives. Offering everything while asking for nothing in return. She will give you everything she has until you have taken every piece. Maybe she needed a day to stretch her arms as far as she could reach or dream. Maybe she needed one day to simply... be.

Maybe that's inconvenient for some people. But after all the stuff we've put her through, I think Earth could use a day off.
