Dave was still driving towards St. Louis. No cannibals on sight. Askova took out a map and looked at where they were going. Derek took a look too. Dave was driving 5 miles off course. Ray was still sleeping.
" I think you're lost," commented Derek. He was looking at the map to see if he was wrong.
" I'm not lost. I'm..." started Dave.
" You're lost, don't argue," corrected Askova.
" No, I'm... ok fine, I have no idea where we are going," admitted Dave. He kept driving towards nowhere.
" Turn right," said Askova, still looking at the map.
" No, I'll figure it out myself," answered Dave. He kept driving.
" Dave, turn right, now!" Askova yelled. Ivy and Sam looked at her, eyes widened. Ray woke up, because of her yelling. She looked at Askova. Dave stopped and looked back at her.
" How did you know my name?" he demanded. Everyone was staring at Askova, including her own people. Ray was still tired, but she answered.
" You guys got out of your truck, and you said each other's names. We also hid, so you didn't see us," answered Ray. Ivy looked at Sam.
" I guess there were survivors there, huh?" said Ivy. Sam looked away, holding his shoulder blade. Dave didn't turn right and drove along the highway. Destiny was still trying to fix Sams shoulder blade. Dave was driving to St. Louis when he encountered a traffic jam. The traffic jam wasn't cars though, it was dead bodies and cannibals, frozen to the road. Dave looked confused. It was snowing.
" This is why you should have turned right," explained Askova. She crossed her arms.
" You knew about this?" asked Ivy, turning to her looking mad. Askova shook her head and showed her the map. The map had a big blue spot over the road that they were on.
" We needed to turn right so we could avoid this spot. Besides, he was lost and if we turned right, then we would have been on track," explained Askova.
" How did you know if that spot meant bad news?" asked Sam. He was still holding his shoulder blade.
" This key right here. It showed that the blue meant ice. The words were scratched off a bit, but I made them out." answered Askova, sighing. Ray put a blanket over her. Ivy opened the van doors and got out. She scoped the road. Sam grabbed a pair of binoculars from under a blanket that was right next to him.
" Ivy, here." Sam handed the binoculars to Ivy.
" Ivy, huh?" said Willow, sighing. Sam nodded.
" I'm Sam. And that's..well...Dave" continued Sam. He pointed at Dave. Dave waved at the group. Dave got up and sat next to Askova.
" Askova, right?" he asked. Askova nodded, looking tense.
" I knew your mom, Aleksandra," smirked Dave. Askova looked tenser, " She was my friend from grade school. She wanted to be a designer but became the principal of her middle school instead. Her mom wanted her to have a business-like job. So, she went into the school business." continued Dave.
" Isn't a designer business-like?" questioned Askova. Dave nodded.
" Well, her mom wanted her to have a more stable job, where you can have more control," he corrected.
" So she became a principal," Askova continued. Dave nodded. Everyone, except Ivy, was listening to there conversation.
" So what did you do?" Michaela asked. Dave looked down.
