Present 6th Year Harry watched after the pair as they walked down the corridor. Her smile etched on her face as the platinum blonde walked beside her. A goofy smile on his face.
He couldn't help but roll his eyes, how could she be with Malfoy? She looked back at Harry meeting his green(were they really) eyes. Her smile faultless but as she turned to Draco, it was back.
Harry's heart broke even more, She was his. He was hers. Now he had her, Harry's her.
Harry continued to watch intently as Draco linked their hands sensing a glare to Harry. But as he looked back to the smiling h/c, that same stupid smile was on Draco's face.
Hermione placed a hand on her best friends shoulders, "Harry... it's time to move on, their in love." Her voice soft and comforting.
But it wasn't YN's!
"Never! She's mine."
Ron shook his head pitifully, "Mate, you two broke up ages ago. It was for the best-."
"She wasn't supposed to go with Malfoy." Harry's voice cracked as the couple finally turned the corner.
Hermione felt horrid for the broken-hearted boy, but she knew YN, her other best friend was happy. In love.
Hermione had known about YN falling out of love with Harry, so YN was grateful when Harry was the one to end things. Hermione knew when YN had began to fall for the blonde, hell even Hagrid knew.
Draco, even though he was a guy at times, had always been in love with the e/c eyed beauty. Even his old house elf, Dobby, could notice the change when Draco returned from his 1st year of Hogwarts.

"What do you mean?" YN asked fully knowing the intent of the boys words.
Harry paused, it'd been a week from Cedrics death, from the discovery of Moody really Barty Crouch Jr. "YN, you know I love you, but we can't be together."
She paused, "You're breaking up with me?" She questioned.
Harry nodded sadly, not knowing YN felt relief, "Alright Harry, it's fine really. As long as we're still friends." The boy nodded as YN turned to walk towards Hermione.
YN waved Hermione away from Ron, "What is it YN?" She asked in a hushed whispered.
"Harry broke up with me." She squealed happily but also in a whisper as Ron and Harry were talking meters away.
