Jisoo's P.O.V.

FLASHBACK

September 27, 2000

"Ji-ah! Where are you going?" My brother asked as i walk out of the house... "shh... You see that outside? Its icecream ... "

"But mom said no icecream?!" I smiled and put my finger on my nose."shh... Don't tell mom. I know you want one tooo... I am gonna get icecream for you just wait in your room or they will see you in the door and we'll get caught. " he nodded and followed what I said.

I walk out the door and put on slippers. I unlicked the gate and run to the icecream man.. He's going far away.. I remembered I promised Taeh icecream... I continue running after the vendor and he was later out of my sight..

I reached in a park which I don't know where I am now. But I go and play with the other kids. "Hi!" A girl greeted. She wore a big shirt and a short with a cap on her head. Compared to her, I think I am more rich... but it made me sad.

"Hi!What's your name?" I asked cheerfully. " I don't have any.. But they call me Jennie. What's yours? " she smiled back with her widest and beautiful smile. She doesn't have a name? How can that be? "My name is Kim Min Ji.."

"Let's play!" She grabs my hand and we went to the seesaw. Up and down.. we went to the slide next and we played hide and seek next. We had so much fun.

We decided to take a rest and we went to the swing and sat there... "Why do you look poor?" I ask

"Yeah.. I live in a normal family. You look rich, what kind of house do you have?"

"I live in a big house with a pool and a garden.."

" I live in a small shelter.. you must have a happy life?"

"No... My parents don't have much time for me and I can't explore the world out here. It's my first time to be here in a park. I can't eat foods from outside and I can't meet other people and only my cousins ..."

"Well its very nice outside. What time is it now?" Yeah what's the time? Wait.. where am I ?

"Do you wanna come with me and see my house?" But... I still followed her and we arrived at a village full of small houses . "This is where you live ?" She nods. "Wait, I'll come back don't go far. It's hard to find way home once you get lost." She runs to a house and helped her parent carying a sack... That's heavy...

I wander around the place and thought I won't get lost. But I am now somewhere I don't know.. I sit on the corner and cry... Time passes by but I still am in this place...

A woman passes by and goes near me.. "Han Jisoo what are you doing here..." she tucks in my hair behind my ear "come with me ..." she smiles and lends her hand for me to hold. I held it and followed her.

"Auntie, where are we going?" I ask. "Just wait we're almost there.. and also, don't call me auntie. Call me eomma.." she kneels down and looks at me..

We soon arrive at a huge house and we get in. "Is this your house, eomma?" She nods and we get in the house. "Maam, I see you have arrived." A maid greets us. "Get this girl to her room and have her take a bath... "but maam," she cuts her with a finger and follows what she said.

"My child let's eat... "

"No! I want to go home !"

"Han Jisoo!"

"I am Kim Min-Ji!"

"No you're not! You're Han Jisoo and you're my child! Araso?! "

"I want to go home... please..."

"Eomma.. when will I go back?"

"This is your home Jisoo-ah. You're not going somewhere. "

"I'm Min-Ji stop calling me your child and you are not my mother! " I stormed upstairs and went to my bedroom locking myself... Please bring me back home...

I miss my family...

I stood up from my bed wondering why auntie was always like that.i walked through the hallways and creep inside my mother's bedroom and saw a picture frame near her bed.. She was with a girl ... which... looked like me...

My mother caught me holding the frame and scolded me. "Who told you to touch that! Get that off your hands you .." she got it off my hands and kept on hitting my hands...

"Who was that with you ?" She looked at me with anger "you don't care who it is.. Never come in her ever again!" She threw me out the room and aunt have me stood up right away.

We went in my room and she gave me a glass of water... aunt is my clisest maid in here. I share her almost what I feel everyday and she comforts me when I feel sad.

"Why was she that mad auntie?" She looked at me frowning.

"The girl with her in the photo is Han Jisoo.. It was her daughter. She eventualy died young because of a disease .. please understand my boss... she went through a lot. After her husband left her and her child, shr became depressed and forget her child. Her child had a disease and she didn't survive and died. Her depression grew more worse. She had no one left in her life. But when she saw you, her life seem to became happy. She knows you're not jisoo but she wants to believe she's still alive. Now you're everything she has. If you'll be out of her life, her depression will worsen... please help her min-ji..."

Now I fully understand. I was too selfish to realize... That I was not the only one hurting...

I'll try to be your daughter...Eomma...

Since then I knew Taehyung was my brother and Jennie wasn't his sister. I have already helped you enough eomma. It's time to go back...

my home.. I missed my home... I rang the doorbell and a maid came to greet me. "who are you mam?"

"I am Kim Min-Ji ... Kim Kyung soo and Kim Min soo's daughter..." she runs fast back in and comes back with my father.. tears roll down to my cheeks... "appa... " I hugged him tight.

"but jennie is..." I showed him the spot at my back

"let's have a dna test. ask me questions that only you and your daughter knows, I'll answer them all.."
