CHAPTER 70

Jennie's P.O.V.

I head towards the dorm after all the schedules I had. I swiped open my phone only to see my phone bombarded with notifications. "Why the fuck does stupid google send me notifications I have nothing to do with!" I cussed in annoyance, closing all the notifications at once. "Ting!"

UGHHHH.....

"Another stupid notification from Hot issue period korea about vrene sip sailing." I say in exasperation, halting as I hear myself again.

"Wait.. what?" I read the notification again, as my heart dropped for a second.

Taehyung...

I heaved a deep sigh, battling over if I should just cancel all the notifications or try to read at least an article. I couldn't take it at all and so I pressed my thumb against the screen, opening an article.

The first article was about their comeback which came just a few hours ago in the afternoon, which I never knew at all due to the business from our comeback released this month, because of all promotions and shoots I have.

But Taehyung could've told me, especially when I always made time for him yet he did this. He hasn't even explained this comeback to me yet, it's like he's keeping it from me.

I don't want to believe all the rumors, the articles, my thoughts, but then it's too good to be true.

I read it all carefully, scanning through the images, statements, and all the author's theories. I wouldn't lie, every word in the article seems to match so well. I'm afraid that no matter how much I try to think on the bright side, it would just make me blind for the fact that it's so true.

I put my phone down, switching it off. I'm done with all these shit, I just want to rest for a while. I know I can trust him, but why does my heart beats as if I'm wrong about it? Is he really hiding something for me?

Fuck it. I thought as I opened the door to the dorm, walking in with a tiresome emotion plastered on my face.

Third Person's P.O.V.

Jennie wiped her tears away as she reads all the articles, and even watching Taehyung and Irene's mv.

It didn't really hurt her at all, but that one part on the behind the scenes, that's where it struck her.

She recalled the camera man's question again, with Taehyung's very honest and joyful answer.

"Would you date Irene? I mean, is she your ideal girl to date?" The camera man cheekily asks, with the shovk written in Irene's face after the question.

"Yes. Totally." Taehyung replies with a huge smile on his face, ears flustered. Irene on the other corner had her cheeks red and blushing, hiding in the corner because of her shyness.

It seemed like they really had a moment right there. It's not stsged, not a script, it's a behind the scene and they surely answered that honestly with blush written on their faces.

Jennie couldn't help but think deep of everything she had seen, trying her best to believe that Taehyung is one to trust.

Little did she know, the girls witnessed everything, standing by her door. They silently talk about what's happening, battling if they should get in and comfort Jennie, or just let her be.

"I'll try calling Yoongi since they are pretty close. He must know something about this." Jisoo whispered, and headed to the kitchen to call.

Chaeyoung did the same thing, calling her boyfriend and Jimin too.
