CHAPTER 84

Jennie's P.O.V.

It's been a week. A week full of busy schedules, a week since I last met mother, a week of me and Taehyung having a cool off, a week full of realizations.

"Jennie!" The door opened out of a sudden, revealing three noisy and annoying girls who now are jumping over me to my bed.

"It's been a busy week for all of us and we had seperate schedules and finally today, it's a peaceful day..." I heard Chaeyoung sighing in relief, laying herself over my bed as she looks up to the ceiling with a wide smile on her face.

"Are we having a rest day?" I excitingly asked, "No. But we're gonna have only one schedule together which means we have more time together!" Lisa exclaims and lays over me.

"Lili!" I groaned in pain, struggling to get her off me. "Nini, don't push me away. Let's stay like this for a while." The other girls followed her, embracing one another.

"Jennie, how did it go? You went to a beautiful site for some commercial right?" Chae pouted as she asked the question, "Yeah. It was fun and the place is pretty."

"You sound a little tired Jendeukie." Jisoo changes the topic, looking at me intently. "It's nothing." It's Taehyung.

"It's definitely something." She insists, making me bite my lips. "I'm just exhausted. It's been a week of endless schedules and work..." I lied.

Jisoo gave me a unsure look, seeming like she doesn't believe in what I say.

"Hey, did you all hear from the news rumors? That there will be a collab between a girl member and boy member with a big brand?!" Lisa exclaims in excitement, turning the conversation into a different one.

"Wait, what?" Chaeyoung confusingly raised her brows, waiting for Lisa's statement while I sat there worried as Jisoo looks at me with her brows raised at me.

"I know right! My reaction was like that too. It would be amazing to have a female idol and a male idol to collab for a big brand! I wonder who it is though and if it's true..." Lisa pouted, staring at her phone.

"It would be powerful if the collab was in between Jennie unnie and Taehyung." Chaeyoung mentioned, making me perk up to look to her.

"Only if they're both fine and in good matters, are they?" Lisa stared at me, elbowing Chaeyoung and now all eyes are on me.

"We-we're fine, we're both good. We're just having a cool off you know, nothing's absolutely wrong." I stuttured upon lying.

"Are you sure?" Jisoo asks, making me get more nervous. Am I sure?

I know too well something is absolutely wrong, not with him but with me.

"Yes." And I lied.

I thought this cool off would make it a lot better, that it will make me realize I'll be good without him.

But then I can't be myself without him.

Taehyung, I miss you.
......

I look at my screen hoping just to see any message and there was..

Taehyung: is Jisoo there??

The thought that he sent the message for a different cause is making me feel so down..

I wonder if he misses me like I do...

Taehyung: Please tell her to prepare for tomorrow. We're having a family lunch.

I ran my fingers through my hair and realized she never seen it. So I just deleted it. She'll never do realize it.
