Shoot me down, but I won't fall. I am titanium. Those are one of the strongest words I've ever heard. That song is powerful. It really should represent real people. She's also an amazing singer. Living in this generation is all about being strong.
If your bullied or cyber-bullied, this is for you.
I want you to know that most of the things you hear about you, you don't deserve. You deserve so much more. Most of the things you hear are probably not even true. It's always hard to hear devistating words, trust me I know.
I've been bullied since I was in 2nd grade, which is roughly about 8 years. You probably would think since it's for so long, I'm a strong person & I'm over it, but I'm not. No matter how old I am or how long it's been happenening, it will always hurt. I don't give up though.
You can't give up.
We're not going to give up. We will stay strong. I know what it's like in your position, if not worse. I know what it's like to be called 'Gay' or 'Worthless' or 'Fag'. I get it a lot & I listen to them. I really shouldn't though.
But when I listen to songs like 'Titanium', it makes me feel like a stronger person. It may sound dumb, but music can really change your mood. Lyrics like 'I'm bulletproof nothing to loose. Fire away, fire away' are just an example of good lyrics. That song is just pure amazing.
Other songs like F*cking Perfect by P!nk, Firework by Katy Perry, Stronger by Kelly Clarkson & Skyscraper by Demi Lovato are great examples of strong songs. It's not just the song, it's the lyrics. Lyrics are basically just words. Words can effect you in so many different ways. You have to think of thos inspiring & strong words to help yourself through out life.
You have to remember ... LIVE GOES ON.
