[1 month later]

I wrapped a thick robe around my body, and opened the bedroom door.
I walked through the wooden floor downstairs.
"Mrs. Vernon, good morning."
"Good morning, lovely whether, isn't?"
"A little too cold for me, haha.", she smiled. "Breakfast is ready, is Mr. Vernon eating today?"
"Thank you. Uh, not right now. He's sleeping... Probably.", I smiled.
"I will serve you tea, yes?", Lily said.
"Thank you very much.", I said as I walked to the wide window.
You could see the forest and the storm that was going on outside.
We moved, just as he said.
We live in the middle of nowhere, just as he likes.
With an awful whether. Rains all day and night.
It's only seven in the morning, but the sky is so dark.
This is worst than his last house.
We live in a luxurious cabin in the middle of a forest.
I hate it because all his pets are inside.
And they do whatever they want and I can't complain because he loves them.
Salomon sleeps with them in a dark room.
He's weird...
"Here you go, bonne appétit."
"Merci, Lily."
Lily is a young very pretty girl, that cooks for us. She studied gastronomy in Spain. I'm happy I can have decent food now.
Salomon eats the same gross food: Oatmeal and chicken soup.
Tho, he regulary drinks juices instead of oatmeal.
Then we have Thelma, she cleans the house and so.
Thelma is a little older, she's in her thirties.
I suspect Salomon likes her.
It makes me somewhat jealous. I don't want a cheater for a husband. Not now that I accepted my fate and honestly recognize him as my partner for life.
I mean, I had no choice... I respect couldn't do anything but stay with him and let him protect me legally and emotionally, right?
I'm so incapable of anything... How could I cope with my life alone with such a dark secret?
I needed someone to rely on...
I hate my life.
But it is what it is.
He makes me cry sometimes, he's still scary and weird...
And I'm still weak and useless.
Sigh... At least I have money.
Channel makes me feel a little better.
I can't contact anyone, I can't go outside if he's not there, I have to do mostly whatever he wants.
Yeah, but I can complain (to an extent) and say my thoughts. He changes the things I don't like and gives me things I want, now this is my house too.
I have a better status, heh.

I miss my family... Nicholas...
I called him when we were in the hospital.
I told him I loved him and that he should forget what I said before.
Salomon did act psychotic that day...
I was scared.
I don't care if he kills me.
But Nicholas.
Oh lord... Not him. Anyone, but him.
I hope he believed me.

[3:21 pm]

"Margo...", someone whispered in my ear.
"What...?", I said half asleep.
"Margo..."
"What?"
"I'm hungry..."
I opened my eyes.
Salomon's sleepy face greeted me.
"Lily is in the kitchen..."
Wait. I'm in my room.
"Salomon... Why-Why are you here?", I asked blushing, noticing he was sitting in my bed.
"I wanted to say hello."
"H-Hello... How was your sleep?"
"Good... I'm hungry now."
"Okay... Let me just."
He got close and pinned me down.
"Where are you going?", he asked.
His black hair touching my forehead.
"I'm going to search for Lily."
"Say so then."
"... Or how about you ask Thelma to find Lily."
"I get nervous around her.", he said.
"Aren't you ashamed of confessing such a thing to your wife?"
"No."
I Sighed.
It's not like I care if you cheat, anyways.
"What would you... do...? If I cheated. I can't help my curiosity.", he asked getting off from me.
Curiosity...
"I happen to be curious too, what would you do if I cheated?"
He looked at me with dead eyes.
"I'll know what to do when it happens.", he stretched himself. "I have some ideas, tho.
I didn't know what to answer.
I don't even know if he's kidding...
"Well... I'll go back to sleep since you don't want to call Lily.", he walked to the door.
"I will...", I said in a sigh.
He smiled.
"Lovely. Very."

He was eating, slowly. Thelma walked inside the room to pick something up.
She smiled to Salomon, he saw her and lowered his sight. Ignoring her. She frowned and exit the room.
I chuckled.
"What's... so funny?", he asked wiping his mouth.
I didn't answer.
"You were asked something, Margo."
"I want to fire her."
He didn't reply, and played with a strand of his black hair.
"C-Can I?", I asked again.
He looked at me, and approached one of his fingers to my face.
He placed his pointy, slim, cold finger in the tip of my nose.
"Yes", he stretched.
"Vyzeráš dnes roztomilý (you look cute today)."
I blushed.
"Ďakujem...(thanks)"
He paused.
"You know Slovak?", he asked surprised.
"Eh? No, not really. Just some phrases."
"May I ask the reason?", he asked again.
"Ah..."
"What is it?"
"Mmm, it's nothing. Well, back when I was in Selina. There was this man, Kacper, uh, he was polish I think. anyways, he is a.. And uhm, idiom teacher. So, he you know, taught me a few things in many languages."
"Did he had feelings for you?", Salomon drank his tea, peacefully.
Of course, he is relaxed. I should be too.
"Well, he proposed to me, twice. So, I suppose yes."
He stopped.
"Why did you decline?"
"Who knows...", I smiled teasing him.
"You didn't date him?"
"No, I wasn't allowed to date anyone. You are my first boyfriend, I guess."
He lifted both of his eyebrows, and closed his eyes. As if not only was the answer satisfactory but also obvious to him.
"What about you?", I asked.
"Loretta didn't allow any girl to come close to me. So, I tried dating a guy. She bribed him before he could accept my request.".
"That sounds... I'm sorry."
"Why? It was an interesting dynamic, I wasn't interested in them, not a bit. I just waiting for Loretta to come up with something to make them leave."
Okay... That sounds...
"Why?", I felt intrigued.
"Because she loves me. And her way of showing it was to isolated me from the world, so I wouldn't... Fly away.", he smiled as he drank tea.
I stared blankly at him.
"Are you wondering if me and Loretta are playing you?"
I muttered. "Y-Y-Yeah..."
He placed the cup on the table.
"We are."
My heart sinked. Like the water flowing away on the drain.
He half smiled.
"You are the cutest when you look heartbroken. I'm just kidding."
He pet my head.
"That was a long time ago. And now, I Just want to be with you... Forever, forever, my sweet Margo."
I half smiled.
"Alright Salomon..."

[Selina:Nichola's house.]

"What's the matter?", Madara appeared behind me. "It's late.", she sighed.
"Jet lag.", I answered.

"Hm... Is that... So?", she yawned and hugged me from behind.

I just got back from my business trip but I can't wait to see Margo and meet her husband. I was left very unsettled after receiving her odd phone calls. Everything was off, super off.

I don't know where she lives but I can get that information from Benedicta, she must know.

I need to solve this problem immediately. It is after all, a very important matter for me.

"Drop Evangeline to her school tomorrow.", said Madara.

"Can't do."
"... Of course. You never can.", she complained.
"Go to sleep Madara, it's late."
"Okay...", she hugged my arm. "Goodnight."
"Mhm.", I rolled my eyes. What a pain. Being married is such a pain.
Madara left.
Finally.
I stared deep into the night.
Shit... I shouldn't have let this happen when I was away.

Stupid me. I should've protected her.
It's still not late... Is it?
But she told me to stay away.
But, oh man, what the fuck, Margo?
I guess, she has a plan?
Nah, fuck it. She's just as dumb as our parents, she's brainwashed.

My head started to hurt thinking about how I am regretting the decision.

No, calm down Nicholas. It is my parents fault, that's it.

I will just get her address and visit them.

But if something happened to Margo while she was with Solomon...

Oh, Bastard, you better not make trouble.
