"Margo!", Madara smiled running to hug Margo.
Margo opened her arms and hugged her.
"Congrats on marrying and and everything!"
"Thank you Madara, you're very sweet.  I missed you."
Salomon stretched his hand to me.
He looked tired.
Did he just woke up from a nap or what?
"Welcome, please sit. And... uhm, this is my wife, Madara."
"A pleasure", Salomon said stretching his hand.
He's wearing gloves? It's not that cold.
Madera just smiled and shook his hand.
"Hi darling.", I said hugging Margo.
"We bought an apartment in Loyola!"
"Oh did you now?"
She nodded cheerfully.
"Yeah, we'll move to Selina this week."
"Congrats that's great." Madara said, looking at Salomon.
"Yeah, it is. Uhm John could help if you want. "
"Oh no! I don't want to give Mr. John any trouble!", Margo said.
"Yeah? Okay... he's very old anyways.", Madara said.
I clenched my jaw.
"He's like a grandpa to us, sweetie. That's why she's declining."  I said as nice as I could.
"Right, I've heard he's been working for the Hozeldine family since you were kids."
"Oh! Talking about kids where's Evangeline?", Margo suddenly asked.
"School. "She answered annoyed.
"Awh, I really want to see her. Oh, I want you to meet her!", Margo grabbed Salomon's hands.
"Oh, tomorrow, my family will gather and they asked me to invite Margo's Family. It's not a business meeting. I just want you and Margo to meet my parents and my siblings. Bring Evangeline.", Salomon said.
"Oh that's great! The families should meet! I've only meet Lancelot before and I also..."
My heart sank.
Benedicta.
I glanced at Madara she was staring at her nails.
Shit.
"Benedicta, right?", he asked.
Shit!
Huh? Does he knows?? How!?
"She was the one who thought of unifying both families, right?", Salomon said.
Relief. I felt tons of it.
"Yeah. Exactly, we both came up with that, I talked to my parents about it and they thought a good way would be by marriage."
Of course, I was against it. And now I  regret letting that happen. I was greedy.
"I didn't know that.", Margo said. "I thought it was just my parents and his parents. I didn't know you had anything to do with this."
"Yeah, well, we just brought the idea, really. "  I said.
"I should thank you for that.", Salomon smiled.
"Thank my mom, my Dad wanted Margo to marry your other brother, but my mom thought you were best suited."
"Huh? I didn't know that either!" Margo said.
Oh...
"Yeah, me neither."
Oh, fuck.
At least I didn't say what brother.
"Well, it's just unnecessary. Didn't happen. Doesn't matter haha. Oh. It's so late. I need to pick Evangeline up."
They got up and said goodbyes.
Hope I didn't screw too much.
I looked at Madara.
Oh fuck. Madara...

"You didn't know your brother an my sister were the mastermind behind this?"
Salomon asked pressing the elevator button.
We waited for it to open.
"No... to be honest I didn't know much. And you never told me much either... I thought you didn't know anything."
"It is true that I didn't know anything.  The day I meet you was the day I found out about the deal. It was too late to say anything, they already made the decision and you were my wife already. I thought you were my birthday present. "
I smiled.
Weirdo.
"Of course, I sent a gratitude letter to my father. And he replied explaining everything."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
The doors opened.
"Are you upset about it?", he answered grabbing my hand entering with me.
"I just don't know a lot of things..."
"You don't need to, I'll take care of everything."
"Solomon I want to know about things too!"
I yelled going for my purse.
"You're right, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He said cleaning his eyes.
"Eh... are you crying?"  I said going for his face. I cupped his face with both of my hands and he kept avoiding me.
"Uhm. Don't cry, I'm sorry I yelled."
He didn't reply.
"I'm sorry honey.", I said hugging him.
He sighed crying.
"Solomon..."
Ugh. I feel terrible.  Why did I yell at him for?
The elevator doors opened.
Our driver was waiting just outside.
"Something happened?", he asked.
Solomon covered his face with both hands like a kid.
"No, don't worry.", I smiled. "Go open the door for me please?"
He hurried and opened the door.
I placed my hand in Solomon's back but he quickly avoided me.
He cleaned his face and glared at me.
I felt a big pain in my chest.
He made his way to the car angrily.
I quickly walked to the car and got in.
"Solomon, honey, I said I was sorry."
He clenched his jaw.
The driver started the car.
"Solomon? Please..." I grabbed his hand." What can I do for you to stop being sad?"
He finally looked at me.
"Come here.", he opened his arms.
"Ah... uhm. Salomon.", I said blushing.
"What?", he gritted pissed.
"Sorry, I'll go."
I sat on his lap and he put his arms around me.
He placed his head on my chest.
"Your brother's wife..."
"Madara?"
"She's strange, isn't she?"
"I don't know... Maybe she was in a bad mood.", I said putting my hand on his hair.
"Don't touch my hair, please."
"Sorry, I won't do it."
"Anyways don't talk with her."
"With Madora?"
"Unless I'm there. Don't."
"Solomon... I... She's my sister in law."
"I'm your husband, Margo! Just obey and stop complaining."  He said frustrated.
"I-i understand if you don't like her but-"
"Stop, Margo. Just do what I say." He said looking at me.
I felt a cold hill run in my back.

It's been a while.... since I saw that face of his. That cold and distant stare.
Expressionless.
Not being able to tell how he feels.
Just felt threatened.
Come to think of it...
He's a lot less scary than how he was before.
But that's only because I started talking back and acting against him.
Does that means I'm in control of him now?
What!
That's the first time I'm in control of anything.
Oh wow. Yeah!
I've come so far! I can meet my family, we will buy an apartment... in selina! Our house has light! No more darkness.
We're on our way to pick my car up!
Yes! I've come so far! Don't be scared, Margo! He can't boss you around anymore! You can just do whatever you want now. For the first time.
He's so scared of losing me that he would do anything for me.
He's still demanding on some things, and he still wants me to d whatever he pleases but the game has changed! He is no position of ordering me around.
This sexist mothrrfucker can't do anything against me.
Hahaha!! Don't be scared.
I'm not scared of you anymore, Solomon Vernon.
