James x Reader

I walked downstairs into the common room. Sirius and the rest of the marauders decided to throw a mini party tonight while everyone else was out on there Christmas break.

It was just gonna be them, me, Marlene, and lily. I like almost everyone who was attending.... except lily. Me and her just never got a long. Most likely because we both liked james.

Sadly James is completely in love with lily. But she just loves the attention so she just keeps him wrapped around her finger but not dating him. I hate it. He's to good for her! I would treat him so much better!

Well that's just my opinion. It's not like I'm not obvious about it. Everyone knows well except him apparently because he's so caught up with her. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard her annoying giggle.

"Come on James I've already told you no silly!" She laughed.

I turned around about to walk away when I heard Sirius call my name
"Y/n!" I looked over to see him running my way "you just got here don't go." He said once he got over.

"Come on pads we both know the whole thing is just james flirting with lily. It hurts me to watch that." I said letting some of the sadness deep through my voice and the rest show in my eyes.

He placed his hand sympathetically on my shoulder. "Please stay. I know it's hard." I was about to still refuse when he flashed his award winning puppy eyes.

"Damnit I can't say no to puppy eyes! Fine I'll stay" I said teasingly.

I was good friends with all the Marauders. They say I'm there fifth member. As just like pads prongs and wormtail I'm a animagus. I turned into a doe.... how ironic am I right?

They all make fun of me and James for it saying that it proves we're soulmates or something. James always gets mad and all red and I just get embarrassed and red and end up walking away.

Me and Sirius walked over to the group and I am engulfed in a giant hug from everybody except lily. James was the last one to hug me and it felt like his lasted longer than the others but it was probably just my imagination. He pulled away when Sirius walked back into the common room holding a bottle.

"Alright everybody let's play a little muggle game called spin the bottle!" He shouted excited.

I got excited at the thought of being able to kiss James but quickly the thought was over powered by annoyance when I heard Lily's stupid squeal.

"Eeeeeee okay!!" She plopped down on the floor and the rest quickly followed suit. Lily spun the bottle first and to my dismay it landed on James.

Lily leans across the circle and kisses him on the cheek. James now has to spin the bottle and it lands on her. So James leans over and pecks lily quickly. After that you where going to let it go but it just kept landing on those two.

James and Lily ended up making out and sucking in each others necks before I finally stormed out. James looked uncomfortable but I'm sure my mind is just playing tricks on me.

I storm of to my room and slam the door. Eventually I thought I heard yelling but I was to busy crying to care.
