It was my birthday and instead of what I usually wake up to which lily grabbing the marauders and singing me happy birthday or something I woke up to an empty dorm room.

I heard yelling downstairs it was Sirius "How could you forget?!" A moment later I heard him yell again "get out!"

I will admit I was saddened by the fact I didn't wake up to a special performance of happy birthday with one Sirius Orion Black in the front being over dramatic with his dance moves.

He always made me laugh. The same way e always made feel special and beautiful. He always gave me butterfly's too. I had a HUGE crush on Sirius. And the fact I didn't wake up to him dancing and singing.... usually shirtless, which was a bonus, in my room was saddening.

And apparently everybody forgot that it was my birthday today. I felt like I would cry.

I walked out to the common room to see Sirius sitting there. "Hey siri" I said smiling half heartedly.

"Happy birthday!!" He yelled happily to me. While holding out a present to me.

"Oh! I thought you forgot...." I said sounding slightly angry but now feeling bad thinking my best friend could forget.

He gasped and put a hand over his heart "me?! Forget?! Never!" He said over dramatically.

I took the gift from him and opened it. It was a dress I had been looking at earlier in the year on summer break. I looked up at him shocked "y-you remembered?!"

He nodded and smiled. "How could I forget?" He asked. I quickly set the gift down and hugged him.

"Thank you siri" I whispered into the crook d his neck.

He kissed my head and said "you think that's it?" He chuckled at my shocked expression. "Oh sweet heart I thought you knew me better." Then he stepped to the side and there on the couch where more presents.

"How did I miss those?" I asked laughing at my behavior. I opened all the gifts and he had gotten me sweets from honey dukes. Jewelry to go with my new dress. Along with a new pair of heels. And a new flannel. And a bottle of fancy perfume.

I looked up at him tears in my eyes. "Oh pads.... I don't deserve all this... obviously your the only one who I really mean anything to" I said as a tear slipped down my face.

He quickly pulled me to him and started swaying gently with me. "Of course you do. You deserve the world and then some." He pulled away and cupped my face while brushing away my tears.

I smiled still teary eyed at him. I sniffed and whispered "t-thank you Sirius". My face flushed when I realized how close we where.

He backed away and gestured to room. "Well y-you better go get ready" he said happily.

"Ready?" I questioned.

He smirked in a way that told me 'you'll see' I walked away to go get ready leaving Sirius alone.

Sirius's P.O.V (before you woke up)

I woke up later the excepted. Especially considering it was y/n/n's birthday. I went down to the common room to see if perhaps I was the last one to wake up and I missed singing to y/n but when I get down there I saw everyone except her.
