(A/N) Hehehe double update.

"Yo, Park."

I turn, in the middle of swallowing my bite of food, to one of the men who called out to me at work. How does everyone know me? How do I not know any of them?

"Who was the cutie you brought?"

I look back to my bowl of rice and shrug. "I think she said she works in accounting?"

"What's her name?"

I hesitate, but shrug again. "Don't remember." I do remember.

"Do you ever remember anyone's names?" The group of men around me laugh.

I show a small smile. "Busy brain, bad memory." Hers is the first name I've remembered in a while. I didn't even try, it just came to me.

"She's super cute," one of them says. I feel by brow furrow at that. Don't dumb her down to simply 'cute.' She's clearly so much more than that. Can't you see it?

"You think she's got a boyfriend?" another one asks.

My heart sinks and I don't know why. He wants to ask her out? What was his name again?

After some hyping from the other men, he stands and makes his way toward her. I swallow. They all chant out his name: Cheong Chan-woo. I want to stop him. I can't. I can't even seem to move from my place.

Cheong Chan-woo sits on the floor beside her. He flashes her a charming smile and I feel my chest tighten slightly as she pours him a drink. Her back is to me so I can't see her face, but I can see from the way her cheeks move that she smiles back at him. I wonder if that smile is as beautiful as her eyes.

He's there for a long time. The whole time, I'm unable to breathe properly. My head hurts from lack of oxygen, but my chest is too tight to allow me to take a deep breath. I can't even look up from my food. When he finally returns, he flashes a confident smile and a napkin with a phone number written on it.

"No boyfriend." He sits down again with a laugh. "I'm gonna text her the details for a date later this week."

The men surrounding him clap him on the shoulder and give him encouraging words. I show him a tight lipped smile and return quickly to my rice and bulgogi. I used to love bulgogi but, for some reason, the meat tastes bitter tonight.

Unedited.

Little Diminie is feeling quite confused, poor baby.
