~Iris' POV~
Surprisingly enough, I grew to like sleeping in Luke's room. It seemed he liked it, too, considering he was the one who had convinced me after the first night. Now, it was a routine that I'd go and join him to sleep in his room once everyone was asleep. He and I woke up first in the house, since our sleep schedules had flipped, and it was incredibly easy to not get caught or cause suspicion.
Currently, though, everyone was getting appropriately dressed to leave to go to an amusement park that Sheila and Tyler had pleaded for us all to go to. Nobody seemed to be opposed to that, being that all of us were getting ready.
I dressed myself in a pair of tight, high-waisted black shorts and a simple black tank top before slipping on my converse and leaving the room. Luke came stalking out of his room at the same time, his large frame colliding with my smaller one. I grunted in surprise and looked up, as if I hadn't known who I'd walked in to even though his scent was enough for me to know full well.
Our eyes connected, one of his hands resting on my right arm while the other clung to the curve of my waist. His blue eyes were intense, briefly flickering down to my lips before they returned to mine. "Sorry." I said awkwardly, my voice a soft whisper. He reluctantly released me from his grasp, allowing me to step a safe distance away from him. Being so close to someone so tempting was a dangerous game and, right now, I couldn't afford to play.
Before either of us could say anything further, I spun and hurried downstairs, hearing his footsteps following after me. I had my head down a little as I stalked out the front door, knowing that everyone else was already done getting ready and was waiting. It seemed everyone was always waiting on Luke and I to finish getting ready. I didn't care much, though.
I quickly realized I'd be joining Luke as a passenger in his car, something that seemed to be becoming a habit. I was always the only one who ended up going with him, and I didn't know why. I didn't mind, of course, since we got along now. I climbed into the passenger's seat while he started the engine, letting Sheila back out in Andy's car to lead the way toward's the amusement park she'd chosen. How she'd gotten Andy to agree to let her drive his car, I have no idea.
The car ride was quiet, nothing but soft music playing in the background as I peered out the window and said absolutely nothing. I didn't know what to say, anyways.
When we got there, Luke and I climbed from his car once he had pulled to a stop in the parking lot, biting my cheek as I gazed over at the entrance. I could hear both laughter and screaming echoing from inside the park, large rides peeking up into the sky. Some of them really didn't look bad at all, but others...Well, they didn't look too promising. I knew I'd definitely not be riding all of these.
All of us began up towards the entrance, buying our entrance tickets before we piled in with one another. I looked around, slightly overwhelmed with the incredibly large crowd of people that was all around us. It was absolutely packed, people of all ages walking around, talking and laughing.
Cassie stayed close to me, most likely feeling the same way about the crowd. I felt her hand slip into mine and her arm brushed mine, her eyes darting around nervously. The both of us didn't like large groups of people. I shuffled on my feet, trying to think of what we were going to do. Suddenly, I felt another hand lightly grip on my other arm, drawing my attention to who was touching me now. My eyes fell on Luke, who was stood with Ashton, Michael, Calum and Eros beside me. I pulled my arm away from him, tingles spreading through my body at his touch.
"You guys going to come with us or what?" Ashton grinned, raising a brow at Cassie and I. I glanced over at everyone else, all of them splitting up into different directions, and raised my brows. "Sure." I shrugged, pursing my lips.
