I took long hard draw of my cigarette , I sat further back down on the porch swing , if my mom caught me out she would beat me black and blue , but thank the lord tonight she was with  some of her
Girlfriends they were attending  dinner she would be sat like the trophy mom drinking cocktails, I could just picture her there that fake big smile her gracious charm and charisma the way people fell in Love with her , her beauty her eyes but it was all fake that mask was what she wore for the outside world too see , when on the inside she was nothing but a monster , she was my own mother and even sometimes I didn't know , didn't even know what was wrong with her I was just glad I wouldn't be home when she came back  feeling the anger stirring in me I bit my lip , I ransacked in my bag and pulled out another cigarette as I took a drag of the smoke it burned my throat I wanted it too , i was staying a Courtney's tonight for a slumber party me and the other girls well that's what my lovely
Mother dearest thought we were going out clubbing , mom would be too Hungover in the morning to grill me or even care when I came back and dad ? Well that would be funny they split six

My parents totally bought it I told them we're we're staying the night at your house but going over to Emily for movie night and that her mom was gonna drop us off but my sisters here so my mom and dad have a spa weekend ew gross people that old should not bumping uglies still it's just weird ew, so anyways violet actually surprised she thought there was an actual sleepover well there is cause your staying anyways but once I claim clean I made a deal with the devil herself she said she Would back up the story and cover for me if I didn't tell mom and dad that Jeremy who is like banned for the house was staying the night haha! As I headed into Courtney's a sense of relief came over me, home her house was so homely violet layed sprawled out the couch before jumping up and hugging me i attempted to hide my eye I didn't want a look or a question I knew Courtney had never told anyone about me and my mother but violet never asked maybe she knew or maybe she just didn't want to cause drama ,

" um club 21" I sighed I knew nothing about partying I was suddenly regretting this decision if I got caught it wasn't gonna be worth it , i heard Courtney banging around before she came down the stairs with a shit ton of makeup and various different cases , she looked at me smiling I could tell she was excited
" phew okay here's all my makeup supplies but first we need to think of an outfit what did you bring " Courtney asked whilst lining up various makeup products

" Ally! This is a club we have to actually look 21 to get in come on , if I had your boobs I would be flaunting them out show them off show some leg live a little " she rolled her eyes

Violet walked around to back kitchen door before lighting a cigarette she stuck her middle finger up

I ceased my opportunity before I was letting Courtney get her hands on me I was having a cigarette lord knows I'd need it

" that's for the back comment " she chucked heading up the stairs i couldn't hold back the laughter Courtney's eyes fired towards me
"You gonna just continue to fill your lungs with poison or you gonna get your ass over here " she patted towards the seat at the breakfast bar , I groaned inward popped a mint and braced myself okay here does nothing
