I peaked my eyes open they felt heavy my whole body hurt I glanced at Hannah staring at me with wide eyes
" josh she's awake!" She shouted
I pulled myself up right wincing as I did my ribs ached
" you okay ally , I can't believe some
Girls jumped you at the beach party last night what bitches man they messed your face up good " she stated then her cheeks turned red she winced realising what she had said
" it's okay" I croaked out
" Hannah how many times have I told you stay out my room? God damn it!" Josh moaned
" you told me to check on her ! Relax I already know where you keep your dirty magazines you know the ones with the girls who have those hugee.."
Josh clamped his mouth round Hannah ticking her
"Okay I think that's enough you can leave ..now" he pointed at the door
" fine fine I'll see you later Ally does this mean your staying over another night we could do nails!" Hannah eyes shone brightly

" so you gone tell me what happened last night and before you start the bullshit I heard your screams from outside I know she did this to you and I wanna know why you didn't come to me " he sat down on the bed beside me my arm hurt so bad I went to lift it up but it was already bandaged

" you know my mom we have like a million first aids kis this is a burn one. there gel in there and this wet sponge thing you put on burns I read the leaflet thing how to do it last night well actually Hannah did she doesn't know the full story " his eyes lowered to my arm
My heart ached a little more even though we had fought he still came and got me he still managed to help me out this is why no one understood our bond he cared about me more than my mother or father had ever done
"Oh my god does your dad know?" My palms started to sweat thinking of peters reaction
" no he just got back an hour ago from night shift now stop avoiding my question what happend?" He prodded again

Guilt tore at me Courtney would never forgive me if she knew I hadn't went to her but she wouldn't be like josh she would flip and then she would tell mason oh god mason...
"it's not as bad as it looks trust me" i tugged on his arm before a sob tore from my chest

A cold sweat broke out, the pain from my ribs made me feel physically sick I sat back down on the bed clutching my sides

" I can't josh I had nothing underneath here no way" I wheezed the pain was becoming too much

"Ally for Christ sake i know what happens last night but come on

I simply nodded I only had a sports bra on masons jersey was still on me josh's carefully lifted my arms up each carefully pulling it off I winced again looking at his face his blue eyes were filled with anger and pain he gently stroked my hair out the way before leading me to his bathroom mirror he traced his hands down my stomach slowly turning me to look at my back I didn't wanna look i didn't want to see what she had done to me but curiousness got the better off me

My ribs where shades of purple and blue even around my back my lip was busted and a bruise was forming On my cheek my arms where covered in her nails marks along with the two bandages covering the burns this was going to be hard to cover up I turned to josh his eyes flared with anger
" josh please don't look at me like that" I felt my legs go weak before he caught me it hurt to even cry but the sobs continued to wrack my body he trailed his fingers down my spine

" it's gonna be okay listen to me I won't say anything I swear but only this once" he lifted my chin towards him
"But ally you need a doctor at least look we can stick to the story about some girls attacking you but you need to be looked at " he pleaded

No there was no way I could do I didn't have the money for health care and I couldn't it wasn't my first time at the emergency room I had , had bruised ribs before from cheerleading okay not to this extent but I knew I would be sent home with some pain meds and told to rest the fear of going to the emergency room made my anxiety rise even higher since the night Brandon died I couldn't bare to set foot in them

" please please don't make me go there it doesn't hurt to bad I swear josh I can't, I can't go there " I cried harder into his chest

For the first time since he had left i wanted my dad I wanted him to hold me and tell me everything was going to be alright , I wanted him to sit watching stupid movies eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream

World who's suppose to love me did this to me I felt more tears rolling down my face I hated that I cared what she did to me I hated that I even let these tears fall because of her
Josh appeared again he handed me two of his dads strong pain killers from when he through his back out last year I didn't question what they where I gulped them down along with the some water he pressed a bag of iced peas on my ribs, I watched as he tore at the small towel and gently tied it around my waist my eyes burned with more tears
" here this should help for couple of hours the painkillers are

Once he laid be back down on his bed he fluffed at the pillows I hated that I was causing him pain he was all I had
