Gerard walked in, a black suit and a saddened expression painted on his face.

He walked up to the open casket that laid on a huge stand just across the room. He sighed and studied the features of Frank.

Now of course the funeral home directors and workers had to cover Frank's face in a bit of makeup. His eyes were stitched shut, along with his mouth, but there was no way you'd be able to tell with the makeup on.

Gerard imagined Frank's eyes, once filled with life, but could also fill with sorrow. But now, if you undid those transparent stitches all you would see was the lifelessness. Gerard imagined Frank's smile, but now his lips were forever in a mere stitched straight face. It horrified him to see his Frankie so serious, and dead.

But the eyes are what brought tears to his eyes, the light and love he once saw in them was gone, and if it was there it was being hidden by his stitched eyelids.

"You okay?" Mikey draped an arm over his shoulders.

"Something tells me ill be okay. Somehow." Gerard sighed. He couldn't believe it.

The same deadly disease that took his Grandma took his boyfriend. He should be destroyed by this, I mean, the two greatest people he loved the most were eliminated from Earth.

"Okay, I'm gonna go greet some people, you find a seat okay?" That was Mikey's way of telling Gerard to stop staring at Frank, that it'll only make the pain worse.

Truth is, Gerard didn't think staring at Frank's lifeless body made the pain worse. The death of his boyfriend, 3 days ago, it never really sunk in yet. In some ways, it comforted Gerard to see Frank for one last time.

Gerard turned around and sat in the front row, he was worthy. He watched as people piled in the funeral home.

"Gerard," Frank's Aunt Marie sobbed.

"Marie, I'm so sorry." Gerard sighed.

"He really loved you, you know." She smiled and sat right next to Gerard.

Gerard knew that Frank had always loved him, even when he couldn't say it, he knew that was what Frank was feeling. Frank knew Gerard better than anyone, even Mikey. Gerard, he was the first and possibly only other teenager that wanted to get to know Frank more, he knew Frank like the back of his hand. Maybe that's why he requested that Frank be buried in his favorite colors, black and one of Gerard's red ties.

"I know," Gerard sighed. It was slowly creeping up on him, the depression. He realized that he now would be lonely. Who would be there to catch his tears, or who would teach him to play guitar? Frank was gone, Gerard's forever was gone.

"We're gathered here today for the passing of Frank Iero. Now I understand that Gerard Way, Frank Iero's friend, would like to speak and do a special thing in honor of Frank." Some tall lanky guy that stood behind the podium said.

Gerard stood up and walked to the podium with his head down. Once he was behind the podium he looked around the funeral room. There were kids from school, teachers, some people he didn't know even existed, and they were all sobbing. The only people Gerard knew were Mikey, Bob, Ray, Gerard's parents, and Frank's aunt.

"I'm Frank's boyfriend," he paused, "Frank, he was special- no no, I can't do this." Gerard chuckled bitterly. He got skeptical looks from everyone around.

"This is bullshit," he looked around the room again, "I've been with Frank for awhile now, throughout school, all across the world. Point is, I know Frank very well and this is bullshit. I look around this room and more than half of you here hated Frank! You never got to know him, and didn't care, why the sudden change? You don't have the right to cry over him, I know Frank." He ran a hand through his growing hair.
