Minho stayed at the balcony all day, purposely making Chan worry about him. He was going to bring the gang to the city so it was going to be easy to capture all of them. He's about to prove his family that he is capable to rule the Jungle City.
"Why are you here?" Chan slid the glass door open, stepping towards Minho and gave him a back hug while resting his chin on the other's shoulder. The younger couldn't help but feel flustered whenever Chan does things to him. He wasn't falling for the rebels' leader, was he? "I was looking for you."
Minho sighed and placed his hand on Chan's, "My brother," He made his voice sound like he was in pain to convince the boy behind him, as if he really lost his said sibling. "They have my brother and I couldn't do anything."
Chan loosened his arms around Minho who faced him with sad eyes. "Is that why you were on the run when we found you?"
"Yes, we're one step ahead them but they grabbed Yongbok from me and," Minho's voice cracked, he hung his head low as he forced his tears to come out. Chan was not good when it comes to comforting but he did his best when he pulled Minho in a loving hug, gently stroking the younger's hair. Minho cried even louder just to make Chan fall for the act which, thankfully, the blonde was good at.
Chan's heart broke to see Minho like this. He couldn't bare to watch him cry about something he didn't mean to happen. If Minho's brother is still alive, Chan was going to help him. "Hey, look at me," he cupped Minho's face with both hands, lovingly wiping the tears away from the feline boy's cheeks. "We're going to save your brother okay? And if anything happens, just call my name and I'll be there, yeah?"
Minho blinked his eyes before nodding with a faint smile plastered on his thin lips. Chan gave Minho a tender and passionate kiss, his arms sliding down to reach Minho's waist and brought their bodies closer. They both loved the feeling of kissing each other, even Minho. Sure, he was about to get Chan and the others killed so might as well enjoy the leader's touch while it lasts.
Changbin, Jisung, Seungmin and Jeongin were all gathered inside Woojin's room, discussing about how Chan always treat Minho differently when he was supposed to treat Hyunjin that way too. "Do you really think the city has Hyunjin hyung?" Jeongin asked, his eyes hoping for an answer from the older members.
"It could be it or," Changbin put a finger under his chin. "A big ol' monster ate him alive."
"Seriously, you need to grow up," Seungmin crossed his arms and glared at Changbin's direction. "This is a serious matter and all you do is to joke around."
"My point is that there's no other reason for Hyunjin to be gone but got kidnapped," Changbin answered sharply, he was serious of this matter after all but in a creative way. "You really need to think-"
"Can you two just stop picking fight with each other? At least, work together now that Hyunjin's not here to stop you both from strangling yourselves," Jisung exclaimed, he was just as worried as the others yet he was getting annoyed with the two being insensitive. "Let's just talk about the recent attacks on our old hideout and on Woojin hyung."
"I've been wondering why there was a bomb in front of the house," Seungmin stated and the others nodded for they all questioned the same. "They didn't just track us down that easily right?"
"I shouldn't be saying this but," Woojin started and the youngsters were already listening carefully. They could tell the oldest was hesitant but Woojin didn't refrain himself from speaking his thoughts out. "I think Minho has something to do with it."
"I noticed that too," Jisung gasped when he realized he wasn't the only that found Minho suspicious, being clingy with Chan and all. As if he was trying to win Chan's favor. Jeongin knitted his brows together for he wasn't able to catch up what his hyungs meant.
"What's with Minho hyung?"
"I'm going to tell Chan hyung," Changbin stood from his seat and towards the door but Seungmin stopped him. "What?"
"Make sure it's just you and him," the redhead warned. "Because sometimes you're reckless with everything you do."
"Oh, I won't be, alright?" Changbin rolled his eyes and dragged his feet outside the room. As he was about to walk by the balcony, Changbin saw two figures standing too close to each other. The more he stare, the more clearer he see and he almost-scratch that, he fell to the floor with a thump, catching the people on the balcony's attention. "What the hell was that?!"
Chan ran to help Changbin up but the younger only pushed him away. "For fuck's sake, Christopher! Something's going on between you and Minho and you didn't say anything?"
