Rumors were news passed by small talks of the town, whether if it's a false or not. He believed it was fake, he hoped Minho was still alive but the statue that was built in the middle of the city told him that Minho, in fact, was gone. Why? Was all Chan could ask himself yet he didn't know the answer.

"Channie," a pair of arms pulled Chan away from the cemented figure. He turned to see Hyunjin with a frown playing on his lips. "What are you doing?"

Chan didn't answer, instead he just stared at Hyunjin's ethereal features. He wasn't going to lie, the boy sure has the looks and Chan would always say he was beautiful. Yet something was tugging his heart, the love for a certain feline blonde. He knew it wasn't right to use Hyunjin just to get over Minho, to take advantages of the other's vulnerable state. At least, Chan learnt to love him back day by day.

But Minho still has the largest piece of his broken heart.

"Nothing, just checked out the details they did here," Chan smiled and his eyes turned into the shape of a crescent. "The statues a work of art."

"You miss him, don't you?" Hyunjin's voice always turned small and quiet whenever he gets jealous, Chan noticed. It was cute, but it wouldn't be cute if the younger was hurt.

Chan lifted Hyunjin's head by the chin and pecked his lips with a smile. "I'm going to lie and say I don't," he started. "But I love you, Jinnie, always do and always will."

Heat crept up Hyunjin's cheeks as he buried his face on Chan's chest. Chan chuckled lightly and engulfed Hyunjin in a loving hug. "Let's go back for now, yea?"

With Hyunjin on his chest, Chan sniffed his head as he rubbed the younger's bare shoulder. Their legs were tangled under the blankets and it was comforting, it was nice with just the two of them. After the love making session, Hyunjin would always fell asleep while Chan couldn't, not with the thought of Minho and a hint of guilt starting to build inside him.

Because every time he'd touch Hyunjin, he can't help to think sometimes it was Minho he'd laid his hands with. He couldn't get the boy out of his head, no matter how much he try. The feelings he felt for Minho were never washed away by betrayal, instead it deepened even more-

"You love Hyunjin, keep yourself together," he muttered under his breath, quietly cursing that he might have woke the sleeping boy up. "Minho's gone, get over him and focus on Hyunjin."

Yet he was listening to every word that slipped out from Chan's lips.

"I'm going for the meat," said Chan as he grabbed the gutter and placed it in his boots. Woojin nodded from the kitchen and wished him luck.

Wild pigs were just around the area, so Chan didn't have a hard time catching one. His hands were soaked in blood after slicing the animal's neck, his sweat trickled along his temples. He wiped it with the back of his hand and sighed contently. The pig he caught was a huge one, they'll be having a feast when he gets back. He bent his knees down and placed his right arm under the animal's body and tried to pull it up..

Just then, the bushes from behind made a rustling sound. With his natural instinct to check on suspicious things, he stood up and quietly stepped forward to the group of leaves. He paused, listening if someone was still around. Footsteps. Footsteps.

He prepared himself for a fight, Chan charged at the bush and ended up rolling on the steep side of the forest. It lead to a river, Chan was still falling as he desperately reached out to hold onto something. Suddenly, he was knocked out after hitting his head with a stray rock, but not without seeing a blurry image of a blonde running to him.
