"Which one are you of the rebels?" asked Felix as the boy before the steps of the palace smirked with a knowing look. His slick, scarlet hair was flawlessly pushed back in a messy manner, but Felix won't deny that he still looked ravishing. Seungmin shifted from his standing position as the young president's doe-like eyes stare at his in wonder.
"I'm Kim Seungmin," Seungmin bowed to show his respect. "I have been wondering if we can ever have time to discuss about things."
Felix narrowed his eyes, "What things?"
"About the attack my comrades are planning to do," was a lie, but he needed to take the latter's trust to end him. Little did he know that his victim had taken quite a bit of interest in him.
"What are you doing?" asked Chan as he leaned his head over Minho's shoulder and wrapped his arms around the blonde's waist. The younger was unwrapping something with a clothe. When he didn't hear a response, Chan sneaked a kiss on Minho neck which finally earned him attention from his lover.
"I'm giving you a gift, geez," Minho laughed as he gently bumped Chan away. "A gift for me? What is it?" Chan went close and saw a flat, small, round stone tied in a straw like a necklace. It was brown with a touch of gold around it like how bright and deep Minho's eyes were.
"Here," Minho stated as he put it around Chan's neck and smiled in content at how the color suited him. The brunette held it with his finger and admired it's beauty up-close. "I don't have anything to get you something yet," Chan muttered as he frowned at Minho.
"Well, you're alive and that's all I want," the blonde smiled fondly and hugged Chan tightly. Finally, his body relaxed as soon as he felt Chan hugging him back. The feel it gave him was the nicest he can get, never have he experienced being held, not even from his own mother. "You can go now, love. I will be waiting for you."
"Are you sure you're going to be okay by yourself?"
"Well, are you okay about your friends being worried about you, right now?"
"Fine, fine, I'll be back after a few days, alright?" Chan gave him a soft peck on the forehead before heading out of the small nut. Minho stood by the door and watched as Chan's figure disappeared into the thick fog. His heart sank when a cold breeze blew on his direction, reminding him of how lonely and depressing it was for him for the last few months. He couldn't go back immediately after witnessing what happened between Chan and Hyunjin that night, the moment he'd been dreading to arrive. But Chan never loved that fool. Minho doubted it, why would Chan pretend he's in love with someone he doesn't love?
Chan stayed anyway, he stayed to prove that the only one he loved was Minho and it was enough for the blonde to fall in love back again. The older's hugs never changed, the way their lips danced as if it haven't been months without seeing each other and the words Minho loves to hear from him never fails to make his heart beat even faster than it would whenever they're together.
"Why are you outside, honey?" asked a motherly voice which Minho was too familiar with. He gave Seunghee a faint smile, "What brings you here, noona?"
"Did you tell him?"
Minho's lips frowned, his arms resting lazily at his sides. He let out a sigh as he shook his head sideways. "We were so happy, I couldn't just go and tell him."
"It's up to you, Minho. But he has to know."
