He felt sick. His stomach churned uncomfortably as sweat trickled down his temples. Bangchan was his brother? Felix didn't want anything but to kill him and now he was his brother? "Urgh," he groaned, rubbing his forehead and settled on his bed. "I-It can't be."
Did Minho know about this?
No, he didn't, of course not.
But what if he did?
Felix covered his face with both hands and tried to breathe calmly. It didn't make any sense at all; if Jackson knew all along, why didn't he say so? Did he really have to wait until both chan and minho were gone? He couldn't believe it, royal families were indeed a headache. "What am i going to do...?"
As he felt fatigue wash over him, Felix immediately drifted off to sleep in his royal robe.
"Felix?" a stern but calming voice rang in his ears. Hearing it made his heart feel like a very tight double knot being pulled hard. "Felix!"
"No, I won't go back yet!" Oh. this was a memory back in his childhood, Felix knew because Minho was the only person to look for him whenever he wanders off. The maids couldn't make him return to his room hence his brother slips in the scene.
"Felix, you have to finish studying!"
"But it's no fun to study!"
"Oh, really? Did you know you can be a hero when you study those boring books?" As a kid, Felix was intrigued by that. He heard an amount of stories about how some brave men fiercely protected their lands and were called heroes; he wanted to be one of the legendary people in history. Minho would always tell him that one day the two of them will be heroes of their nation.
He promised that they will save their people together.
He promised they will never leave each other behind.
He promised things that Felix knew he couldn't make anymore.
But the person that appeared before him was not Minho. It was bangchan. What was he doing here?
"Hey, little fella," brown curls bounced on his head as he moved down little Felix' level. He reached out to pinch the boy's freckled cheeks gently as he could and smiled warmly. "I hope you'd understand why things happened the way they did."
Felix wanted to cry; since he was a kid at the moment (which was very peculiar), he just wanted to bawl and hug Chan. It was a child instinct of his. But he kept a hold of himself. "You're not Minho hyung... he is my brother, you traitor!"
"Yongbok," the way chan stated his real name caught him off guard. It was something he never expected. How did he know about his real name? Then again, this was just a dream. "Trouble's coming-just trust me and everything will go back to normal."
is it?
"Your majesty!"
"Huh, what?" Felix forced his heavy lids up, his senses groggy after his door was slammed open.
"One of the rebels is looking for your royal highness."
