It's been 2 weeks since Andrew's last surgery and he can finally go home. He's been talking about going home for a while now, and when he found out he was being discharged, he was so happy. Meredith just got taken up for some MRI scans for her head because she suddenly couldn't remember some things. The last thing she says that she remembers is Derek leaving for DC. "That was 4 years ago Mer, remember? He left for DC to work on the brain mapping for the president, but he didn't leave when he said he left, he got hit by a semi and died. Don't you remember? You're in love with Andrew, and he loves you." Alex tried to remind her, but it was going in one ear and straight out the other. "Who's Andrew? I don't know anyone named Andrew. Is he one of my interns? I can never remember their names." Meredith said. Alex was worried that she was starting to get Alzheimers, since she does have the gene. "Scans are up. It's a small subdural bleed in the hippocampus. It's minor, but it is there. Is that what is causing her to suddenly lose her memory?" Alex asks Amelia anxiously. "It's a possibility, but this could also be her Alzheimers gene starting to come into play. I'll need to call for someone to operate on her since I can't." Amelia replies, scared for her sister.
