All of the attendings, residents, interns, and Mer's kids are standing on the staircase waiting to see what color scrubs Jo is wearing when she walks through the door.
20 minutes pass when Arizona interrupts everyone, "Okay everyone, it is finally time to find out if Mer's baby is a boy or a girl!" Everyone claps for a second before Arizona says, "Come on out Jo!"
Suddenly, the door opens and Jo walks through. Mer has her eyes closed. When everyone started cheering, she opened her eyes to find Jo wearing her blue scrubs. Mer runs over to her and embraces Jo into a hug.
"Anthony it is!" Andrew exclaims. He was super excited for their new baby boy to arrive.
Zola and Bailey run over to their mom to give her a big hug. "Bailey, you're getting a baby brother!" Mer says to her 5 year old son.
"Funny, I'm super happy!" The excited Bailey replies.
"Zozo, are you excited too?" Andrew asks. "I'm super excited daddy!" Zola says back to her new father. Little Ellis is too young to understand what's happening right now, so nobody asked her anything.
Mer went over to Ellis to pick her up off the ground and tried explaining what was happening, but she doesn't think anything went through to her young daughter.
Andrew kisses Mer's lips when Sophia runs over to Zola saying, "You're going to be a big sister again Zozo! I'm so happy for you!" Mer, Callie, and Arizona look at the best friends thinking about how cute their daughters were.
Sophia walks over to Meredith. "Congratulations Auntie Mer!" Mer bends down and gives Sophia a hug, "Thank you very much, Sophia."
