As a week goes by, Mer still cannot move as much and is desperate to see her baby in real life, not through a screen.
That Wednesday, it happened. She was finally able to see her baby, but she didn't know it yet.
His wife was asleep when he rolled his baby from the PACU next to Meredith.
She awoke to the screams of a little baby, and as a mother of now 4, she got up thinking she was at home, but when she saw her little Anthony by her side, she couldn't help but smile and cry.
"Oh my- hi Anthony. It's your mommy. Did you plan this Andrew?" she asked.
"Yep. I saw how upset you've been for the past week so I asked Dr. Robbins if we could do this and she said yes. She came to me about an hour ago saying we could do this now."
"Andrew, come over here."
He was confused. Was he in trouble? Should he have not done this? "What is it?" he said, sitting on the bed next to her.
She grabbed his face and kissed him. "Thank you. I love you."
"You're welcome." He said, giving his tired wife one more kiss.

Another week has passed and they can finally go home.
Zola, Bailey, and Ellis have visited many times to check in on their mommy and to meet their new baby brother.
Zola and Ellis fell in love with him, while Bailey felt a little jealous.
But that feeling resolved itself quickly and Bailey soon felt more in love with his brother as well.
They arrive at home and Alex greets them at the door.
Alex kisses and hugs Mer's kids as he is about to leave. "Bye Zozo, bye Bailey, bye bye Ellis."
"Bye Uncle Alex!" Zola and Ellis reply.
He says bye to Mer kissing her on the cheek and giving her a hug then he walks out the door and drives away.
Mer always loved that she had Alex to watch the kids for her on his days off. Sometimes, he even asks to watch them.
Meredith gets Anthony settled in his new room and walks downstairs to see her husband. "You ready? Raising a baby isn't always the easiest thing to do."
"As long as I have you by my side, I will be perfectly fine."
