CHAPTER TWO: RHETORICAL QUESTIONS
3rd Person's Point Of View.
Jihoon's wonderful girl grew up independent. Her parents had to work overseas for their family to survive. She had to cope with the absence of her parents since she was very young only to find out that they have divorced and already had their own family in another country.
It was really hard if you heard about it, but for her it wasn't that much of a sad thing. She was determined that she's happy as long as her parents are happy. They kept in contact until she turned eighteen but after that everything disappeared and she was left with Sanbi by her side.
Sanbi and Jihoon are two people that she love dearly because they are the only ones left. She's a strong woman but it immediately change when it comes to them.
So, hearing all the hurtful words from Jihoon now is more painful than it seems. She didn't want him to leave her, she doesn't like being left behind.
"I can't breath in this relationship." He blurted out. the frowning girl in front of him can clearly smell the alcohol that is the reason for his state.
His uniform completely wrinkled, his eyes half open, and his state of mind that isn't right. Strangely, Jihoon had went to her house drunk without warning and is blabbering stuff about them.
"You're drunk, Jihoon. Let's get you home." She said, dismissing what the man had confessed about their now six years long relationship and is quickly approaching him.
But he just went against her touch and started blurting out more confessions about their relationship. "See? This is what I'm talking about. I can't do anything by myself, I can't say anything about this relationship, and I can't leave you! Even though I want to!" He let out a laugh completely oblivious to the vulnerable girl he was directly talking to.
She bit her lips to fight back her tears and never said anything. His words pierced through her heart completely breaking her. "Just leave me alone, will you? I'm sick of you. Every thing..about..you.. sickens me." His back had faced her then walked away after saying and intentionally emphasizing each words.
The hurt girl couldn't even hold it in anymore. Her tears rolled down her cheeks and is clearly not stopping anytime soon. Her mind drifted to their happy times when they were still new.
Their love was like a bubble gum, it's only sweet in the beginning.
Six years of relationship, she thought they'd be together forever. But as days go by, their relationship is crumbling in front of her very eyes. And it was unbearable to watch.

"I'm sorry, sir. But the Kang Enterprise had backed down from signing the contract. They said that they didn't want our company's name with theirs."
"What do you mean?! They were fine with everything when we spoke to their CEO." His hands aggressively rubbed his face, getting frustrated with what was happening.
There was a sigh on the other line. "Sir, it turns out that the man we first spoke to wasn't their CEO but just the Secretary of the CEO. I heard that the actual CEO doesn't meet face to face with a client."
"I could care less about that, Soonyoung. We need them to sign the contract. Our company is in crisis and they're the only ones that can help us."
"But, Si--"
"We'll talk about this later." He dropped the call then had the urge to throw his phone by the wall.
This morning is practically torture. He thought that waking up with a bad hangover was bad, now this.
It was April 13, it was suppose to be the grand day of the Lee and Kang Company to confirm their partnership, but Soonyoung just told him that none of those will be happening.
He can't loose the company just because of his lack of investors. It was his family's and it had been running for a rough 20 years now, he can't fail. His father had high hopes for him, he can't let him down.
He prepared for work then headed down stairs, he was planning to only eat bread for breakfast but he saw his girlfriend placing delicious food on his table.
"Good morning, Jihoon.." She greeted with her usual radiant smile. "I came here as soon as I left the hospital." She added randomly again with a smile, thinking that the boy might have at least a bit interest in what was happening in her life.
It irritated Jihoon. 'Couldn't she get the message that I wanted her out of my life?'
"Eat before you go." She pushed a bowl of rice by him but he simple pushed it away then grabbed a piece of bread on the table. Ignoring all the dishes she worked hard to cook. "You don't want to--" She was cut off when Jihoon had given her a glare.
"What are you even doing here? Why are you even doing this?"
Her eyes remained on him, letting his words sink in. Her heart aching with every word he spoke, how can he easily say that?
Her lips were trembling as she asked the question she wanted to ask, despite not wanting an actual answer. "Why do you keep on hurting me?"
