CHAPTER TWELVE: MORNING

3rd Person's Point Of View.

Soft knocks were heard early in the morning. Jihoon was the one who woke up as he was a light sleeper. He gently brushed his lovely girlfriend's hair, taking the opportunity to stare at her while she was asleep.

'She's very beautiful. Her cute eyes and nose, those once pinkish lips now pale because of her condition but either way, she takes my breath away..'

His thoughts however, had been put to halt when another knock was heard.

Carefully, he got up and went to open the door, without caring what he looked like. "Is there anything I can do to help?" His rather weak voice from waking up was heard as he asked.

His eyes caught the sight of a man and a woman who seemed familiar. Although, he couldn't put his nose into it exactly. They just stood before him nervously, just making him confused and curious.

What do they exactly need--

"M-Mom? D-Dad?" A feminine voice was heard behind him. He didn't need to see the person to know who it is, but he still turned his heels then walked towards the girl in pajamas, supporting her to walk towards the door. "Thank you."

"Sweetheart.." The woman mutters as she rush towards them. Gently wrapping her arms around Jihoon's love while he looses his grasp, eventually letting her go.

They were her parents.

The people who left her. Jihoon felt mad; assuming that the both of her parents knew she was sick ever since then, but still chose to leave her alone. Although, he tried to stay calm for his love's sake and also thinking that they must have reflected on their mistakes, finally figuring out that their daughter needs them more than anything. Like how he was.

Maybe the universe is really teaching people their lessons...

Maybe the misterious repetition of the day is meant for people like him to reflect on their wrong doings...

Maybe the universe is giving them another chance...

But what Jihoon didn't know is that it's not the universe's doings.
