CHAPTER NINE: RAIN
3rd Person's Point Of View.
Her small figure rested on her couch. Eyes now dry because it had shed too much tears already. Despite wearing warm clothes, a hoodie and some jeans, she was still cold because of the rain.
Hands still clenching her phone, she couldn't believe that they were now over. And she was the one who ended it.
The room's silence was soon ruined by an aggressive knock on the door. Although she didn't want to open the it because she wanted to be alone, she took pity at the person outside since it was raining heavily.
Even before she could register everything when she opened the door, drenched arms pulled her into a bone crushing hug. She felt the person's head buried into her neck, lips touching her sensitive skin making her gasp.
"Who told you that you could leave me?"
She didn't need to see the man when she heard his voice. She tried pushing him off with her shaking hands, Jihoon let her go and suddenly felt empty without her body near him.
Her once dry hoodie is now wet but she could care less about it. "W-Why are you here?"
"Because you're here."
She felt her face heat up but the light was thankfully dim making it barely noticeable. Her heart pounding from her chest, it's been a while since she felt his hug.
"Tell me, why did you want to break up with me?"
Her eyes widen. "Isn't it what you want to happ--" she was then cut off by pair of soft lips. Slightly nibbling hers and her waist gently pulled towards Jihoon's body.
Without even noticing, her lips moved with his, returning the same want and need. Hand finding it's way to his shoulder and the other doing the same. The rain was suddenly muted, all she could hear was his breathing in between kisses.
But she couldn't do that.
Her hands patting his shoulders signaling him that she needed air. Jihoon released a small chuckled and just travelled his lips to her neck, placing open mouth kisses on her skin. She just took the time to catch her breath, gently gripping on Jihoon's wet clothes that she assumed was in that state because of the rain. His kisses then went to her ear whispering loving and caring words that she have not been hearing for a while now.
"I miss you.. I love you.."
Both of them can hear each other's hearts. It was comforting. They both missed these moments when they just show how much they love each other.
"I'm sorry for being mean to you. I love you very much, I don't think I can handle it without you." Jihoon barely said as his eyes were slowly closing because of how comfortable it felt in her arms. "I missed you.."
"I missed you, too." She replied, but soon she suddenly felt cold. "Jihoon, go take a shower. Who told you to get drenched by the rain while you go here?"
If it was the frustrated Jihoon who heard her say that, he could've shouted at her for nagging. But hearing that now, it made him happy to know that she deeply care for him.
'Ugh, how can I be so blind?' he scolded himself, having the urge of hurting himself like how he did to his precious love.
Despite Jihoon's state, they stayed in each other's arms for a while. None of them spoke but they enjoyed the silence just feeling their bodies against each other and their heartbeats beating making them calm.
However, the solemn moment was stopped when Jihoon heard groans as if his love was in pain. "Are you alright?!" He panicked, unaware of what was happening before him.
"M-My heart.. i-it hurts."
Suddenly, his tears unknowingly running down his cheeks and feeling useless while looking at her suffering from the pain. He didn't know what to do.
"I-I can't handle it anymore.." she whispers but it was loud enough for Jihoon to hear.
"What do you mean?" His eyes started forming tears unknowingly, suddenle feeling anxious with what was happening before him.
She cried out. "Call for help, please!"
