CHAPTER ONE: WILL BE FINE
3rd Person's Point Of View.
Her hands were shaking as she walked inside her boyfriend's company, heading to his office. Almost everybody's eyes were on the unfamiliar visitor that's wearing quite old fashioned clothes.
Although she felt uncomfortable, she still went to his office wanting to surprise him with her homemade lunch for him.
When she reached the office, a woman wearing such formal clothes blocked her way. "Excuse me, who are you again? Have you schedule an appointment?" By the questions she asked, she may be her boyfriend's secretary or assistant.
"Er.. no but I'm his---" She didn't have the chance to finish the sentence because the 'Secretary' cut her off.
"I'm sorry, miss. I can't just let you barge in there."
A frown was then shown. "I'm his girlfriend." She said.
Only to receive a laugh from the secretary. "Many had already claimed that but I think this one is the most hilarious."
"I'm Lee Jihoon's girlfriend. Tell him that I'm here." She said a bit offended by her remark.
"He's busy. Please just leave. Nobody would believe yo--" She stopped talking and almost tripped when the door behind her opened.
A man, also wearing formal clothes with his hands playing with his own hair was revealed. "Jihoon.." The petite girl exclaimed showing enthusiasm.
"Sir, do you know her?"
Jihoon's eyes stayed on the girl who he haven't seen for a few days. Not ignoring the presence of that lunch box in her hand.
With a strange sigh, he answered. "Yes. Please leave us alone for the moment."
___
"I told you to never come here."
The lovely girl felt discouraged with what was happening. She thought that they'd eat together when they were left alone but instead Jihoon insisted that he already ate and that she should go home.
"You leave work at twelve noon. It just turned twelve. Don't lie to me that you already ate." She handed the lunch box she was carrying. Knowing that the boy she loves is lying because of an unknown reason. "Please just eat. Don't starve yourself. It's not good to skip meals. I even skipped my check up for this.." She ended up barely saying the last part as Jihoon didn't show any interest in her at all.
She was indeed very caring. She woke up early to prepare these food and she want to keep him healthy because she knows that Jihoon barely eats whenever he works. That's how committed he is to his job and she's very aware of that. She had experienced being called that he was weak and he needed to go home, which Jihoon, of course, didn't agree on until she convinced him to.
She was like any other girlfriend out there, caring for the person she loves, make sure they're fine and healthy.
However, Jihoon sees this as something annoying. "Why are you taking care of me like a child? I can eat by myself, I know what to do, I know what's bad and good for me. Just stop it will you? I don't need you to take care of me."
Despite being near him, his few last words was unclear to her. All she heard were the words I don't need you and it kept ringing in her head.
"Jihoon.." she mutters, feeling the pain in her heart double when there's no trace of care in his eyes. "I-I.. fine. I'll just go, but I'll leave this lunch box here. I'm sorry for disturbing you."
Would you believe that this caring girl was almost used to this kind of treatment? It happened quite a lot already but it still hurts her very much.
And each time she gets hurt, Jihoon wouldn't even care at all.
Like how this usually end, she'd runs to her best friend, Sanbi and just let out her pain. Sanbi would listen and repeatedly tell her how everything would be fine.
Sanbi would always whisper that everything will be fine soon.
