CHAPTER SEVEN: SANBI

3rd Person's Point Of View.

Legs crossed, chin up, eyes looking directly at him. That's what Kang Sanbi was doing when Jihoon had entered the office.

"Good morning, Mr Lee."

"Kang Sanbi.."

The tension was physically present, Soonyoung can prove it. His insides twisting while looking at his shocked boss. Although it wasn't entirely what he is allowed to do, but he was very curious of why the atmosphere felt this way.

Jihoon had dismissed Soonyoung-- telling him to wait outside the office. Despite his curiosity growing every second, he obeyed which left Jihoon and Sanbi alone in the office.

"How are you, Jihoon? And most importantly, how's my best friend?" The questions came out in a harsh tone which intimidated the boy.

Sanbi is Jihoon's girlfriend's best friend. However, they aren't very close. Probably because Sanbi had been feeling this bad aura from him--or maybe because her best friend has been always running to her crying because of him.

She hates him.

He hurts his girlfriend after dating for so many years. What a jerk.

"I-I'm fine, but I haven't been in touch with --" Jihoon couldn't even finish his sentence when Sanbi spoke again.

"Of course. Because you don't even care about her."

Legs frozen, Jihoon just looked at her. It was the first time that someone told him about his actions towards his girlfriend. His purpose to why he came to the Kang Enterprise vanished. And he wanted to disappear as well. Weirdly, he felt so bad with how he was acting in his relationship. Like it wasn't something that he has done before.

He's been a jerk, countless of times.

"I think I don't need to explain further. Although it's very unprofessional of me to bring my personal reasons to work but I won't let someone whom hurt my family work with me. You may take your leave now, Lee Jihoon."
