Hiccup's POV:

This is great. Life here is finally starting to turn out awesome. I think everything's perfect now. Berk is at peace with dragons and astrid's my girlfriend. Isn't this amazing?

"Grrr."

"What now?" I asked him as he turned his head where right behind me I see dad. I was sitting at my desk in my room drawing some more sketches and I turn around to see him in my face. I don't know about you but it was pretty scary. "Ahhh! Oh it's just you."

"Hiccup we need to talk."

"What did I do now?"

"It's what you haven't done!" He yelled.

"What do I need to do?"

"Well, first off, Gobber needs help. And second, the dragon racing is this afternoon so make sure you get the red paint." He ordered. That wasn't so bad I guess. I mean I expected worse.

"Alright, alright I'm on it." I said leaving. I arrived at Gobbers where he was in the middle of making a saddle.

"Hiccup! There ye are! I need your help with some stuff." He said putting the gold thing attached to his helmet over his head.

"Yes?"

"I can't do fifty things at once so could ye go sharpen those swords please." He asked pointing to the wall where they were hanging. I sighed and picked up a sword.

"HEADS UP!!!" He yelled as a metal tooth came flying towards me. Without realising I hit it with the sword in mid air making it split into two pieces and fly past me on either side.

"Uh,.. No way. Who's a fishbone now?" I complemented myself swinging the sword around.

"How long have ye been practicing with swords?" He asked.

"I haven't." I answered.

"Well your pretty handy with one. Maybe that could be your weapon. Ye said ye always wanted a weapon of your own." He giggled.

"Cool!" I smiled swinging it around some more.

It was the afternoon and dragon racing was soon. I finished painting the red paint on Toothless.

"Grrrr." He complained, showing me I missed a spot.

"Don't grrr me. Otherwise you can put it on yourself." I argued and he just nudged me in return.

"Hey." Astrid greeted.

"Afternoon mi'lady." I responded and looked back to Toothless. "There, finished. You happy?" I asked him. He smiled a gummy smile and ran over to the other dragons.

"Your hopeless, you know that?" Astrid asked sarcastically putting the paint on my cheeks for me. "There. Your welcome. Good luck." She said and gave me a kiss before walking over to Stormfly.

"Hey, Hiccup!" Tuffnut called from behind. I turn around...

"Woah! What happened to you?" I asked as I noticed his hair in clumps of long knots. It was actually kind of neat.

"Well I'm sick of brushing my hair so instead I decided to just knot the whole thing so that I will never have to brush it again." He smiled

"They are dreadful!" Ruffnut laughed from behind him on Barf.

"They are just giant locks." I stated.

"Dreadlocks! That's what I will call them. Like they are dreadful locks. Isn't it awesome!" He laughed.

"Uhhhh..." Me and Ruff muttered.

"I knew you guys thought it was an awesome name! No need to thank me." He giggled and hopped on Beltch as they flew to the finish line.

"Okay then... I guess I missed a lot this past weekend." I talked to myself. I stayed inside all weekend because I wasn't feeling well. Dad took it way over the top, bringing gothi in with all her herbs and ish. I'm fine though.

"AHHH! Snotlout!" I shouted falling over as I turned around to see him standing there. "What happened to you now?" I asked. He had changed clothes too. He had these bear claws over his shoulders and this other weird thing. Was he wearing underpants on the outside of his pants?

"Don't ask about the pants. Gobber made them so Hookfang didn't set me on fire anymore." He mumbled.

"So they are fireproof?"

"Yeah. You could say that."

"Guys. The race is starting." Fishlegs told us from beside me. I turn to face him.

"What the? You changed your clothes too?" I asked him.

"What? The winter is coming. Fur keeps me warm." He stated.

"Fine, fine. Let's just finish this race." I hopped on Toothless and flew to the starting line.

"Alright. Same rules as usual, and..." Mulch started.

"STOP!" Bucket shouted."

"It's go you idiot!" Mulch yelled at him.

"GO!" He corrected himself as we took off. We began flying over the village looking for the sheep.

"Toothless, there." I pointed as we shot down to grab him. I caught him and I began flying over to my basket. "Umph!" I was hit by Snotlout.

"Sorry about that! Here you go babe!" He yelled throwing it to Ruffnut.

"Uh, come on Barf. Let's get out of here." She responded catching the sheep.

"Yep still hates you." Tuffnut laughed then blowing up all the gas around Snotlout made from Barf.

"Ouch!!!" I heard him scream as the twins dumped the sheep in there basket. I picked up another sheep.

"Grrr!" Toothless growled.

"Come on. We got the sheep lets go!" I told him. I looked down to realise the sheep wasn't in his hands. Astrid flew above me and I saw the sheep in her hands instead.

"Thanks babe!" She called as she flew away dumping it into her basket.

"Come on, come on." I muttered looking around for another sheep.

------time skip------

"Astrid lies on five, the twins on seven and Hiccup on two! Let the black sheep be released!" Dad yelled as Gobber began setting up the sheep launch.

"GO, GO, GO!" I heard the others yell as we all raced to the middle of Berk. I saw the sheep launch into the air. Stormfly had her claws out ready to grab it. I zoomed past her and grabbed it from above. I turned around and could see my basket ahead. I am totally gonna win this... And I spoke too soon. Astrid jumped on the back of Toothless and caught the sheep out of my hands.

"THATS MY FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW!" Dad yelled as she dumped it in her basket. I flew past him.

"Dad are you kidding me?!" I ask him sarcastically.

"Yeah! Woohoo!" Astrid shouted with her hands up in the air as the crowd cheered.
