Astrid's POV:
--------------------

I woke up to a loud noise on my roof. I look up and realise that the roof was nearly being destroyed by the cold wind. It was still late at night. I quickly ran outside where I see the dragons all in their pens and covering themselves from the wind. This has to be the strongest wind storm ever. I could barely see with my fringe blowing in my face.

"Astrid!" I hear faintly. I look to my right where I see Hiccup coming my way. It was kind of funny watching him walk. He was leaning so far forward his nose might as well have touched the ground. He reached my house and before he fell back I grabbed him and pulled him in.

"Why you here so late? Not to mention how did you even get here with the wind?" I asked while he fixed his hair.

"I came to check if you were alright. Trust me, no one is asleep anymore. The wind might as well blow our houses down. I was planing on flying her but then I thought twice." He giggled.

"Well thanks for checking. But not everyone is awake. Uncle Fin is still upstairs snoring away. I dare you to try and wake him. It's like trying to wake the dead." I laughed.

"I'm sure he can't sleep through everything." He argued. I grabbed a cup of water and walked upstairs. "What are you doing?" He asked following.

"Proving nothing can wake the man." I answered. I opened the door with a bang and I see him snoring, half way off the bed. "Watch." I said while Hiccup stood at the door. I pored the cup of water on his head and he didn't wake. Then I pushed him off the bed. Still nothing. I seriously hope sometimes he isn't dead.

"Point proven." Hiccup gave in. We walked back down stairs.

"Where is all this wing coming from anyway?" I asked.

"I don't know? Let's just hope it leaves by the morning. Anyway, I better get going." He said, looking out the window. Suddenly a sheep flew past.

"Okay that's weird." I said looking through the window next to him. A monstrous nightmare flew backwards trying to fly against the wind but failed.

"HOOKFANG!" I heard as I noticed Snotlout on the back. Hookfang flew like mad. His wings flapped frantically and he still flew backwards. Soon he was out of sight.

"On second thought I don't really want to go out there." Hiccup turned to me with puppy eyes.

"Uh, couch is there." I rolled my eyes and walked back upstairs.

"Thank you!" He responded.

Hiccup's POV:
--------------------

I woke up and noticed a terrible terror above me.

"What the?" I said shaking him off. He fell off the couch with a whine. "How did you even get in here?" I looked over to the window where I see Stormfly with her head through a broken window, shivering with frost on her snout. The window must have broken from the wind and she stood there stopping the cold from coming in.

"Ssssquawk?" She shivered.

"Gosh Stormfly! Can't believe you stopped the cold coming in for me." I thanked here rubbing the frost off her nose. "Well you can't stand there forever. Oh, I got just the thing!" I said, running over to the firewood pile. I pushed Stormfly out and quickly patched up the window. I opened the front door and let her squeeze in. She ducked, trying not to hit the roof and curled up next to the fire. The terrible terror made himself comfortable behind her neck spines.

"I heard banging!" Astrid ran down stairs. "You broke the window?!" She yelled running over to examine it.

"No, the wind did and poor Stormfly had her head through it all night stopping the cold from getting in." I pointed to her next to the fire.
