Back in the past, the snow was falling as well from behind the window and Donna was still sitting next to the fireplace when suddenly someone knocked on the room door. Who could that be?

(Music: Chiquitita – instrumental)

Donna rushed towards the door and opened it finding Rosie and Tanya, two girls of her age she had met in the boarding house (played by Alexa Davies and Jessica Keenan Wynn).

YOUNG ROSIE & TANYA – Happy Birthday Donna!

Surprised by this unexpected arrival, Donna rushed it their arms while crying.

YOUNG ROSIE – Oh darling!

YOUNG TANYA – Why are you crying?

YOUNG DONNA – My mother... she didn't come...

YOUNG TANYA – Oh please! Who needs a mother?

YOUNG ROSIE – She's right! Who needs parents at all?!

YOUNG TANYA – We can do whatever we want here! We're free! No parents to tell us what to do!

YOUNG ROSIE – Come on Donna, smile! It's your birthday!

YOUNG TANYA – It's your own day and you are the queen for the rest of the day!

YOUNG ROSIE – Dear queen, what would you like to do to make this day unforgettable?

YOUNG DONNA - I don't want to do anything, I just want to lay in my bed for the rest of the day.

YOUNG ROSIE – Are you kidding? Don't you wanna dance?

YOUNG TANYA – Don't you wanna meet some boys?

YOUNG ROSIE – All right, it's party time!

YOUNG TANYA – Let's enjoy our lives while we're still young!

YOUNG ROSIE & TANYA – Screw them if they can't take a joke!

(Song: Dancing Queen)

YOUNG ROSIE & TANYAYou can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
Where they play the right music
Getting in the swing
You come to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of rock music
Everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance

Soon, Donna regained confidence and started to dance.

YOUNG ROSIE & TANYAYou are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen

Going out from Donna's room, the girls slid on the stairs' handrail entering the dining room of the boarding school where the other teenagers were eating. Donna stood on the table while dancing.

YOUNG DONNA - You're a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave 'em burning and then you're gone
Looking out for another
Anyone will do
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance

Soon, Donna, Rosie and Tanya went out of the school. All the teenagers followed the three girls while dancing and singing in the streets of London.

ALL THE TEENAGERS - You are the dancing queen
Young and sweet
Only seventeen
Dancing queen
Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
Dig in the dancing queen

Arriving to a public park, all the teenagers were dancing on a giant frozen lake while Donna, Rosie and Tanya were standing on a small bridge from above the lake.

ALL THE TEENAGERS - You can dance
You can jive
Having the time of your life
Ooh, see that girl
Watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen

Once the song finished, the three girls jumped together into the snow while all the teenagers were having a snowball fight.

YOUNG DONNA – Girls! That was awesome! I think we should form a band!

YOUNG ROSIE – I love that idea!

YOUNG TANYA – We'll call it after you Donna, since it's your idea!

YOUNG DONNA – What do you think of... the Dynamos?!

YOUNG ROSIE – Donna and the Dynamos!

YOUNG TANYA – It sounds good!

YOUNG DYNAMOS – Dynamos! Dynamite! Sleep all day and whoop all night!
