After thorough reflection, Ruby made unwillingly a radical decision. She concluded that the only way to protect her daughter from the cruel world of fame was to move her away from it: she would send her to a boarding school in London. At the airport, Ruby kissed her daughter with a heavy heart before letting her go. Donna was guided by a hostess into the airplane while waving goodbye at her heartbroken mother.
