After thorough reflection, Ruby made unwillingly a radical decision. She concluded that the only way to protect her daughter from the cruel world of fame was to move her away from it: she would send her to a boarding school in London. At the airport, Ruby kissed her daughter with a heavy heart before letting her go. Donna was guided by a hostess into the airplane while waving goodbye at her heartbroken mother.

As the electric guitar solo began to play, Ruby turned back and left the airport while crying. Settling into the plane, Donna was sad. She was still too young to understand that her mother was acting for her good. After a long flight, she arrived at London and settled in a room at the boarding house.
