Back in the past, Ruby sat distraught in a couch next to the phone not knowing what to do. She felt lonely and incapable of protecting her daughter by her own. Forthwith, she took out the photo of her and Fernando and stared at it while thinking of him. She wished he was there next to her to help her in these difficult times.
