author's note n°2: discontinuing for a while at least

hey people, since so much happened today (if ur in stan twitter u know what i'm talking about) i feel very much in the obligation to tell you that the events and things that happened or were said made me unmotivated to keep writing this story. i'm very divided on my opinions over joe because of how much i've heard and read today and it just makes me sad, because i truly appreciated him SO MUCH as an actor, director and producer that it kind of hurts to see so much shit going around him.

if you don't know what's happening i'll give you the stuff that i saw on the course of the past week.

1. a couple of days ago i think, some 13 year old made a fake screenshot of a conversation of her and joe that went on basically like this

joe: so how old did you say you were again?
girl: i'm 13
joe: in this case you can text me in my number (and then the person "censored" joe's number)

which is super fucking dangerous because it can make joe look like a pedophile and ruin his career.

2. this one no one knows if it's real or fake but anyway. in ben's most recent post on instagram ben and joe had a conversation in the comments where at some point he said "i have enough pics of us together in bed, i don't photoshop" and someone messaged joe "can you please post the pics of you and ben in bed" and he replied with "haha we really know how to get you guys going!" which is unfortunately very clearly queerbaiting. hardzello used to be something fun all but at this point is getting out of hand, and neither joe or ben are doing anything about it.

3. this happened:

so, the picture joe sent is not the problem here, but the fact that he sent like "i did think of you when i saw it" to an 18 year old girl kind of weirded me out. i'm not saying he's a pedo bc the girl is already 18 and it's her business and all but like, it's a 17 year age difference and it's honestly very creepy that joe would be exchanging those type of texts with someone who barely left her teenage years (if he's aware she's only 18).

anyway, it really broke my heart, i don't want to think about it right now because damn i really look (or looked?) up on joe, he is( used to be?) an actual inspiration and now it's just very confusing and weird for me, so i prefer not to write about him, even though these characters are obviously nothing alike ben and joe irl and i only used them for foundation.

in conclusion, i'll be taking a break and idk when i'll come back, i just hope this drama is all fake and that joe and ben kind of put limits on the whole hardzello thing.
