It was soon my lunch period, so as soon as the bell rang, I got up and rushed out. I was about to go in until one of my friends stopped me. "Hey.....um....can I ask you a question?" She kept looking behind me towards the cafe. "Umm sure?" I was about to look behind me but she started to speak. "When you were in California, did you see any celebrities? Like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande?"
I giggled and shook my head no. She then took something out from her back and smiled. Music started playing and she turned me around. There was a trail of rose pedals leading into the cafe. I walked in and see somebody holding a poster up for prom. "Aww , who is getting asked to prom?" I then felt myself being pushed towards the person with the poster and got confused.
The poster came down to reveal a very familiar face. "Colby?" He smiled and chuckled a bit. "Hey, I know we are just friends but, I wanted to ask you to prom, will you go to prom with me?" I walked closer to him blushing and smiling. "Yes Colby, I'll go to prom with you." He handed the poster to another boy I now recognized as Sam. He walked towards me and gave me a hug.
I hugged him back and a bunch of girls squealed and giggled. Guys cheered. I shake my head and we pull apart and head to my lunch table. I sit down next to Colby and Sam. Colby was in the middle. We were talking and taking pictures. "Wait, is that why you asked where I lived, and if it was a prom dress?" He nodded his head smiling. "What if I was already going with somebody?" He shrugged. "I would cry myself to sleep every night or I'll make Solby happen." Him and Sam laughed and shook their heads.
I giggled and the bell rang to dismiss us to our next class. I began to stand and grab my bag but stopped when I felt something grab my hand. I looked down to see Colby. "I talked to your principal, for the rest of the day, you are free, the teachers will not give you any zeros, they are going to give you full credit." My jaw dropped and I looked at him surprised.
"Wait, really!?" He nodded his head and I jumped on him smiling. He carried me out of the school as Sam followed. All of us laughing. He set me in the front seat of the car. "Wait, what about my car?" Colby looked at Sam. "Wanna drive her car?" I took out the keys and Sams eyes darted to it. He grabbed the keys and went to the car. Suddenly we hear a yell. "A fucking two-thousand fifteen Mazda MX-five Miata!" I giggled and shook my head. He pulled up next to us and Colby nodded. We sped off with Sam following not to far behind.
Soon enough, we made it back to my house, which I gave the directions too. Let's just say, we have money. My mother is a brain surgeon and my father is a Lawyer. They got out of the car and looked at the house surprised. We parked the cars in the drive way and headed towards my door.
My mom just came out and went to her car and grabbed groceries. "Honey, why are you home? And who are these two lovely people?" I smile. "Somehow mom, they got me off and all my work is excused with full credit." She looked at them surprised and smiled. We quickly helped her bring in the groceries and then sat down on the couch in the living room.

I turned on the TV and X Box making my way over to the shelf to get the controllers. I grabbed three, keeping one for myself, and giving one to Sam and Colby. I looked through the games and we all agreed on one. I sit with my legs crossed on the couch. I squealed as I was shot and hit Sams shoulder. He laughed and shrugged. "Oops."
*****About an hour later*****
We finally quit playing the game and we started watching Netflix and posted on Snap a lot. I got up and went to my kitchen and made us popcorn and got us soda. I placed it down on the table in front of us and sat back down turning up the volume. I heard the door open and looked behind me to see my dad. I smiled and got up quickly. "Dad!!" He smiled and opened his arms. "Baby!" We rarely get to see each other so I gave him a big tight hug.
I then went back and sat down watching the movie with them as we munched on popcorn and sipped on our soda. The movie soon ended and we all just chilled and talked. We went outside as well and sat down enjoying the sun beside the pool. It was getting late and they said they had to leave. I went up stairs to my room and got ready for bed. I heard a ding and checked my notifications. It was the video of Colby asking me to prom. You could see I was blushing so hard. I saved it and then when to bed.
