Chapter Fifteen

Alexis's POV

I woke up to the light shining in my face, I should probably go visit my parents today. My eyes fluttered open and I groaned shielding my eyes from the light. I sat up and rubbed my eyes a bit before getting up from the bed. I grabbed my phone and checked to see my brother had texted me.

I unlock my phone with a click and told him I was coming over. I grab a pair of clothes and walk into my bathroom. I quickly shower and brush my teeth. After doing all of that, I get dressed.

I put my hair back into a ponytail and grabbed my belongings. I was gonna film today but, my mom was planning on opening our presents today. It was a party for everyone. Everybody got presents, it was a family tradition. I left leaving a note on my door just in case Colby went looking for me.

I quickly went outside and drove to my parents house. I walked in and seen everybody sitting in the living room. I ran in and they all got up and hugged me. "Oh my God, we missed you!" I giggled and smiled. "I missed everybody too." We all sat down and talked for a bit. Then we went to opening presents.

I went first since I graduated. I opened up a small box from Max. I smiled and looked at her. I got up and gave her a hug. She painted a rock she really liked a while ago. She gave it to me. I then opened my brothers gift. When I opened the box, I looked at him with a bit of tears.

He had a little souvenir from the YouTube red carpet with our picture in it. I smiled. It was a necklace and I put it on. I then opened my moms gift. I got up and gave her a hug. She bought be a anklet which she knows I love. I then opened my dad gift and I seen everybody watching me. "No, you didn't..." I got up and ran to the garage and gasped. "You didn't!" I screamed and jumped up and down. "An Audi!!! Chrome!?" I screamed and smiled jumping up and down. I ran towards him and gave him a hug.

"Jake, you can now have my old car." He cheered and smiled. I tossed him the keys to the car and he ran outside to it. I got in my car and took a picture.

After doing all of that, we hung out for a while, but, I did need to go home. We said our goodbyes and I got in the car and drove to the house. I sped up to the gate and drove it after putting in the pin. I had to connect to the gate for a second. I drove in and parked the car. I seen Elton walk out and he looked at me then the car.

"No way that is yours." I nodded and he laughed. "Oh my God, how?" I smiled. "Graduation present from my father, the old car went to my little brother." He nodded and gave me a high five. I walked in and put my keys up on the wall. I walked in and went up to my room. I plugged in my phone and went onto my laptop looking for a keyboard I could buy. I finally found one and ordered it.

I got bored so, I got up and went to Colby's room. I knocked on the open door and he looked towards me and smiled. "Hey, what's up?" He turned his chair around and smiled. "Hey, can I?" I pointed into the room. He nodded his head. For some reason, I felt so different whenever I was around him or talked to him. Even over the weeks of him being here in LA and me in Miami, we would still talk on the phone.

I walked in and sat down on his couch. He put his computer to sleep and came over shutting the door. "What's up?" He looked at me. "I want to do one of your over night haunted videos." He looked at me surprised but smiled. "I was planning on going to one by myself but I didn't want to get hurt and have nobody there to know, so yeah, that would actually be cool."

I smiled and looked at him as he smiled looking at me back. Our voices turned to whispers. "Just us?" He nodded softly. I smiled a bit. "Alone?" He nodded and scooted closer. I don't know what got into me. He leaned in and I did as well. Our lips touched lightly and my breath hitched. The memories back when he was at my house ran through my head and I felt myself get hot.

My cheeks burned. Our lips locked and moved in sync. I felt his hands rest on my knees and slowly move up to my waist. He pulled me onto his lap and I wrapped my arms around his neck as I straddled him. A leg on each side of him. His hands ran from my sides to my lower back. I gasped a bit and he chucked. His lips left mine and went to my jaw. Suddenly, there was a knock. I jumped and scooted off of him. He grabbed a pillow and placed it over his lap as he answered the door still sitting on the couch.

"Hey Colbs, I was ordering food, did you want anything, Alexis you want anything?" We both shook our heads. He nodded and shut the door again. I touched my lips looking down blushing. I could feel his eyes on me. "Sorry..I shouldn't have done that." I looked up and shook my head. "It's okay, I didn't mind." He chuckled and nodded. "Well, umm, I think I might need to go take a shower." I nodded and we both got up. I went to my room as he went to his bathroom.
