Chapter Forty-Three

Alexis's POV

"Alexis, I'm a big fan! Can you sing for us?" A lot of my fans were here. It was a surprise birthday party in a way because I missed mine. "Yeah, sure." I took off my heels and run up on stage. This was my first on stage. I put on my playlist and chose a song.

"Open wounds and closing doors. Been here before. Not again. We cannot hide. Our nasty scars. Too many "sorry"s. What would happen though if you stay. You won't know if you walk away. I jumped around on the stage as I sang. The words flowing right out of my mouth as I smiled and looked out over the somewhat small crowd. "More! More! More!" They cheered. I looked over at Sam, Colby, Elton, Jake, Corey, Devyn, and Kat. They got the hint and ran up on stage. "Kat, sing with me, you have an amazing voice." She smiled and walked up to the other microphone.

We sang a few more songs and danced around. The night was coming to an end and I was opening presents. The first one I took was Elton's. I opened it and seen a ticket we got in Japan. I smiled and gave him a small hug. I then opened Sam, he gave me merch that wasn't even dropped yet. I gave him a hug and we opened the rest of the presents.

**Later That Day**

I was in my room recording a video. I was explaining what happened to everybody. I heard a knock on my door and yelled come in. The door opened to reveal Sam and Colby. "Yo, we are going back to Kansas soon for Christmas, you think you would like to come?" I shrugged and nodded. "Why not?" They smiled and walked out.

"So, we were running and I guess they got so close that they tackled me and they broke my wrist but I am okay. Colby was going to turn around to grab me but I told them to run so Sam dragged him to the car. From there, I spent a night in jail, then went back home. The day of the hearing the sentenced 6 months but I had gotten out early because of how I behaved. Oh I also got a tattoo." I stood up and showed them. After thanking them for everything, I ended the video and went on to editing it.

It took my a while but I finished it and posted the video. It didn't take that long. I got up and walked around my room packing things away. It was a bit chilly right now so all of the stuff for Summer and spring were packed away in my closet. I took out all of the winter and fall clothing and arranged it around. I changed and walked over to Colby's room. I knocked and heard nothing.

I shrugged and was walking down the stairs when I bumped into a chest. I looked up and met eyes with Sam. "Oh, hey, I was coming up to ask you to be in our video, people seem to really love you." I nodded my head and we walked outside. "What's up guys it's Sam and Colby!" Colby said. I ran and jumped in them. "And Alexis! I'm back guys!" I said. We laughed and Sam spoke. "Today we're doing something I wanted to do for a long time a lot of people suggested this we're going to stay overnight in our own backyard." I looked at them.

"Okay, I did not know we were doing this." He chuckled. "Great idea by the way it's going to be fun, it's going to be cold because it's what November now and the heater does not work at all." Colby said.  "It was like a trend maybe like a month ago people staying overnight in a lake with air mattresses, we don't have a lake, but we have a pool so like why not you know what I'm saying." Colby nodded. "I'm excited to see what Cory thinks or whatever, looking out the window right there at three am."

"Elton bought this giant air track that we've done the slip and slide on his channel I will blow that up and that's going to be our sleeping bag." I shook my head and we walked over. They announced the explorer merch. We started blowing up the mattress and it was a bit dirty.

A few outs later, we went outside. We got on the track and messed around. We poured soap all over it. I sat on the hot in and watched them. "Wow..." We continued to play around and soon got tired. We were board and they played beer pong. I just watched. They went inside and grabbed towels. I laid down and we shut off the camera.

I sniffled and we all fell asleep. I had woken up a few times due to it being cold and moved over to sleep with Colby. He wrapped his arms around me at some point because when we woke up to Sam spraying us with water, his hands were around me. We slowly and carefully got out of the pool and walked over to Sam who was about to record the outro.

I rubbed my eyes and ran my fingers through my hair. "And we will see you next time, PEACE!" We ended the outro and wet inside. I immediately ran tot he couch and jumped on it laying down. Colby came walking in and seen me. He picked me up and laid down laying me on top of him. I cuddled to his chest and we soon fell asleep again.
