Chapter Fifty-Five

Authors note: I just wanted to add that I have been in school and I'm really sorry if things seem miss placed and rushed. The end of the school year is nearing and I am trying my hardest to get everything done and going. I have a lot I have to do. I will be taking small breaks from the story as well and J am working in planning a new one for when this one finishes. If any of you would like for me to do a second book to this please let me know and I will. Like I said, I am trying my hardest to do multiple things.

It's been three months and he still hasn't woken up. No sign of anything. Colby and I visited as much as we could but we also had a job to do. I walked into the room and seen him laying in the bed still motionless. I looked at Colby and he nodded giving me a bit of time alone. I stood next to the bed Jake was lying in. "Hi Jake, it's me Alexis, Lexi, I still don't know if you remember me, I don't even know if you can hear me.....I just wanted to say I love you and I always will. I will never forget all the memories we made. The red carpet, the park, the beach, the house, the bike rides, school days, field trips, dances, everything." I wiped my tears.

I grabbed his hand and held it. "Just promise me you will keep fighting, not for us but for yourself, you have so much ahead of you. Trey is here for you everyday. He loves you. Wake up, give a sign you can hear me. Just a small sign, anything." I sobbed as I felt a soft squeeze of my hand. I gasped and looked up at him. His eyes flickered over. Not opening but his eyes were moving. I smiled in relief and gripped his hand back to let him know I knew he was still there.

"I'm here, I'm here Jake." I said softly as I rubbed my knuckles over his hand. Colby soon came walking in and sat down next to me. "Lexi, we have to go, Trey is here and he wants to speak to Jake." I nodded and smiled. "He heard us, he can hear us. He is going to wake up." I said in a hopeful voice. Colby nodded with a smile. "I know, we all have hope and believe in him." I felt another soft squeeze and looked at him.

His eyes slightly more open than usual. "Jake?" Colby looked over at him and then me. "L....le....xi......" he choked out. His eyes slowly opened. Colby jolted up and ran out to get a nurse. "Jake!" I shot up and hugged him. He coughed a bit and hugged me back loosely. I kissed his forehead and called my parents to come. They did and were here in about 10 minutes. "Jake you're awake!" They screamed and a nurse came in smiling wide. "Congratulations guys, he's awake." She said as she began to get some things going.

We went home hours later and did everything we needed to do. A lot of shit had happened and it's been crazy. First off, Elton moved out while I was in jail and came to visit everyone and then. Jake moved in and it's been a long, amazing time. Prank wars were over and Colby won. We were all going to Hawaii in like a week and I was just excited. Let's just say it's been a wild ride.

"Devyn, Kat! Are you guys ready!?" I yelled from the kitchen. They came walking in and nodded. I grabbed my car keys and my bag. We were all doing a make over for the trip to Hawaii. It was going to be just amazing. Also, Sam and Colby are going on your very soon. We got in my car and drove off to the salon.

We all were doing an appointment with different people at the same time so we're we're close to each other for the most part. I was currently getting my hair dyed. I closed my eyes as they rinsed out the soap after the color was put in. They blow dried my hair, cut it, and styled it. I looked into the mirror and squealed. Kat and Devyn seen me and did as well.

We all finished up and walked out of the Salon and went to go shopping for Hawaii. I was buying a bunch of new outfits and bikinis. As soon as we were done, we all bought fake tan lotion. We went back home and went up to my room and put a towel on my floor and our hair up in messy buns. "Ready?" We nodded and all turned away from each other as we dropped our towels and started putting in the fake tan lotion.

We all helped each other out when needed. As soon as we were done, we got dressed and walked out of my room. We met with Sam, Colby, Corey, and Jake. "Oooh look at you guys, your hair is all done, nails done." I laughed and nodded my head. We all went down to the game room and started playing games with each other. Yelling and everything filled the house. We were all having a blast.

But, it soon ended because us girls had to go pack our things. I filled a suitcase full of bikinis, tank tops, shorts, dresses, bras, panties, rompers, hair supplies, make-up, hygiene, laptop, laptop charger, cameras, go-pros, batteries, lights, and books. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yelled. The door clicked and opened up. I seen Jake and he smiled at me. "Can I come in?" I nodded.

He came walking in and sat down at my desk while I packed things on my bed. "Hey, So you and Colby are together right?" I nodded my head and zipped up the suit case. I placed it at the foot of my bed and then slipped up a duffle back and sat it next to that. "Okay, Hey um, have you ever been in a cruise before?" I shook my head. "I have not, this will be my first time." I sat down on the bed and looked over at him.

He slowly nodded. "Jakes what's up?" He looked up and cuddled with his hands. "I........I have a crush on your friend." I smiled. "Ashley?" He shook his head. "Tara." I bit my lip and nodded. "Okay, well, I mean, I can give you her number if you would like?" He nodded and I gave him her number. He thanked me and soon left. I shook my head smiling.
