Colby and I were currently getting off the boat to go back to the airport. I got my period yesterday and I was having really bad cramps. I groaned and bent over as I took deep breaths. "Lexi, babe, I think we should go to the hospital." Colby said as he rubbed my back. I nodded and stood up all the way. Devyn and Kat came walking over and helped us out. Colby picked me up and walked through the airport.

"Ahhh! Colby!" I gripped my stomach as tears began to leave my eyes. I breathed deeply and heavily. He kissed my forehead and held me close to him. We soon got on the plane and were on our way back. After the five hour plane ride of pain, Colby gave our things to Corey and them to take. "Guys, I'm taking her to the hospital." They nodded and he helped me to an Uber.

We sat down and he rubbed my thigh as I breathed heavily. The pain spread through my legs and I just groaned more. As soon as we got to the hospital, he helped me out of the car and we walked in. Tears were running down my face and a nurse rushed over. "What's the problem?" She asked. "She's having really bad period pains. I've never seen her like this." The nurse nodded and she came behind me with a wheel chair.

We checked in and they brought us to the back immediately. I was brought to a room and Colby helped me onto the bed. I laid into my side and he sat down next to me and ran his fingers through my hair. He wiped my tears and then I watched as a few nurses came in. "Hi Alexis, I'm Doctor Kian and these are my assistants, what are you in here for today?" I was about to speak but groaned. "She is having really bad cramps, worse than usual." I heard Colby say as he rubbed my back.

The pain just started getting worse and worse. I squirmed and kicked. "Ahh, help please!" The nurse ran out immediately and a transporter soon came in. She was bringing Colby and I up stairs for ultrasounds. The had me take off all my clothing and put in a hospital gown. "If you are comfortable with him being in here please let me know." I nodded. "He's okay being in here." She nodded and she inserted the wand thing. I gasped and screamed out in pain.

She looked at me with wide eyes. "Okay, sir, I need you to keep her as relaxed as possible." She said looking at him. Everything seemed to be getting dark, the pain was unbearable. Colby leaned his forehead on mine and placed his lips on mine. A long, lingering peck. He ran his hand across my cheek and my breathing calmed. She continued to move it around as I gasped and groaned. Colby held my hand. "It's okay baby, just think about us, the future, walking down the aisle and seeing me in a tux. Our kids smiling.." He trailed off and J listened and closed my eyes.

Soon it was over and she covered my with the blanket after letting me go clean up. Colby was laying in the bed with me to keep me calm. He used one hand to play with my hair and his other hand was holding mine. He smiled at me as I looked at him. He kept me calm. "What if something is seriously wrong?" I said barely above a whisper. He shook his head. "Everything is going to be okay, I promise." He whispered as he kissed my forehead.

A nurse came in and gave a soft smile. "Hi Alexis, we need to take some blood sample and hook you up to some IV but first we have to feel around your stomach if that is alright?" I nodded my head and Colby slipped off the bed. He held my free hand as the nurse began to push around on my stomach. She earned a few kicks and lots of groans.

A few minutes later, she hooked the IV up after drawing blood. The pain hit me all at once and I arched my back and my breathing quickly began to turn into hyperventilation. Colby quickly got to my side and grabbed my hand and rubbed it. "Shh, breath, breath, stay calm, deep breaths. I'm right here." I heard him say. I looked towards him as he held me close to him. The nurse came over to my side and hooked me up to lots of machines.

Soon, I seen my parents walk in along with Max and Jake. Max jumped up on the bed with tears. "Lexi, are you okay!?" Her eyes were red. "Yes Maxy, I'm okay, I'm just a little sick." She kissed my cheek and hugged Colby. She sat down in a seat and my mom came sitting next to me. "Alexis, is there a possibility that you could be pregnant?" I looked at the doctor and then at Colby. "I mean, I.....I don't think so?" I said questioningly. She nodded and walked out. A few minutes later she came in.

"Alexis, if you could sign these papers saying that it would be okay for us to admit you for a few nights that would be great." She gave a soft smiled and I nodded as I began to sign the papers. Colby was staring off into space and I let go of his hand and pulled it back to my chest. His eyes slowly crept over to me and my hand. "Is something wrong?" He asked. I shook my head.

They got another transporter and they brought me to a new room. Colby being with me the whole time. My parents and siblings following behind. I seen him looking at my stomach occasionally and but my lip. They had me pee into a cup and soon came in with a pregnancy test. She placed it into the cup and I watched everyone in the room look at her.

"Alexis, you're pregnant, we are going to have to do another ultrasound." She said as she nodded her head. My face dropped and I seen my dad look from me to Colby and then back at me. I closed my eyes and felt the tears leaving my eyes and roll down my cheeks. A hand held mine and I opened them to see it was Colby.

"Everything is going to be okay, I'll call everybody and tell them to come." He walked off out of the room. He came back maybe 10 minutes later and sat down in a chair. "Hi Alexis, I am going to be your designated driver from now on, please, if you would make sure to keep your arms and legs inside of the bed and may I have the father of the baby come with us?" A nurse spoke as she entered.

Colby rose to his feet and she smiled at him and took us out of the room and to an Ultrasound room again. This time, they put the gel on my stomach and looked over it. I seen the nurse take a deep breath in and she glanced over at us a few times. Her eyes were a bit glossy and she kept looking back at the screen. I stayed quiet.

"Alexis, I would like to know if it is okay to ask you a few questions?" She said as she turned the screen away and looked at me

"Alexis, I would like to know if it is okay to ask you a few questions?" She said as she turned the screen away and looked at me. I nodded my head. "How old are you?" "Eighteen." "Do you drink or smoke?" "I drink occasionally, I haven't for a few days though." "Did you have any sort of trauma?" I shook my head. She looked at me and then nodded.

"I will be back in maybe 5 to 10 minutes." She said as she stood to her feet and walked out of the room. Colby looked at me and then pulled the chair closer to the bed I was currently laying in. "Colby, what.........what are we supposed to do?" I said, my voice cracking a bit. He shrugged. "Listen, if we keep this baby, I will not ever, ever leave you. We made the decision to do what we did and we will pay for it, not that having a baby is bad. I just want you to know I will never, in my entire life, leave this baby." He said as he rubbed my knuckles.

The nurse came back in with a sour face and looked down. "Alexis, you are four months pregnant, the reason you have not shown any sign was because during month three, the baby's heart failed. I'm sorry, but, your baby is a stillborn." I broke listening to the last five words. I felt my eyes tear up and bit my bottom lip.

"We will get you a transporter right away, you will go back to the room and you will have to deliver the baby tomorrow morning, remove the baby and placenta from your body." She said as she looked at me. I nodded my head and just stayed quiet. I wasn't bleeding because I was in my period, I was bleeding because I had a dead baby inside my body. I wiped my tears quickly and they soon took us back to our room.

My mother immediately got up and hugged me. "I'm so sorry, a nurse came here to tell us. It's gonna be okay." She whispered in my ear as she hugged me. I shook my head and smiled. "I'm okay." I lied. Colby noticed but he didn't say anything. Visiting hours were over and we were only allowed two people to stay, Colby decided to stay the night. We laid in my bed together as my eyes began to get heavy and I fell asleep.
