Chapter Twenty-Five

Alexis's POV

I was currently showering. We were heading to another beach and I think I might get sun poisoning. All I know is that I have a nice tan. I brushed out my hair and put it back into a bun. I then brushed my teeth and got dressed.

I put on my bikini and walked outside of the bathroom. We did end up fixing the door. I seen Corey and he smiled at me rubbing his eyes. "Morning Alexis. Sleep well?" I nodded my head yawning. "As well as a person can sleep on a uncomfortable mattress thing." He chuckled and nodded his head. He was brushing his teeth.

"So, are you and Colby like a thing or are you guys just friends?" I looked at him confused but answer. "We're just friends." He nodded his head and brushed his hair. I sat down and watched him. "Ready for today?" I nodded my head smiling. "Definitely, but I do have to be careful, I don't want to break anything." He nodded his head and I heard a creak. I look over to see Colby stretching as he walked into the door. Elton then came in and so did Sam.

We were making food right now for everyone to eat. We sat down at the table and started eating. After eating, Elton spoke. "Alright sam and Colby, it's your turn to empty out the piss tank." I laughed and looked at them. We all walked outside to watch.

I was laughing as I watched. I went back inside and they came in a bit later. We all went to the store we needed to go to and we geared up. We got on the quads and started driving around. After a long day of fun, we had to bring everything back, one of the quads at which didn't work. I took off my shirt to replace it with a hoodie. They stopped me and said I was bleeding. I shrugged and they grabbed water bottles and paper towels. They cleaned off the cuts I had from the sand and we were on our way back to the owners.

We were heading to an actual shower. We drove to a rest stop and we all went in, we showered and came back out cleaner than ever. I was wearing comfortable clothing and we were on our way home. We arrived at the airport and said our byes. We carried our bags inside and arrived at our gate. We got on the plane, Colby, Sam, Corey, and I were all in the same row.

I started to yawn and curl up in my chair as I slowly fell asleep. Dreams of everything that has happened coursed through my brain, the memories. It was one good time, and to be honest, I couldn't wait to do it again. Even if being with a bunch of guys can suck, there are some good things about it, like, they will protect you.

I felt myself being picked up so I opened my eyes to see a blur of lights. I heard the murmur of people talking and wheels rolling on the floor. Soon enough, that turned into city sounds and I was in a car. I fell asleep again and then was carried into my room. I felt myself getting stripped and then something big and baggy slide over my head. A soft cool blanket laid over my skin and I cuddled to it. The bed dipped and I was pulled to a body. We both fell asleep.

I woke up to sunlight in my face. I groan and turn over on my side and cuddle to the blankets again. I stretched throughout the bed and got more comfortable. I then realized I was back home and I opened my eyes and looked around. I smiled softly and stood up going to the bathroom. I walked in and took a nice, hot shower. It relaxed me and I soon got dressed. I was wearing a tank top and sweat shorts.

I laid in bed watching videos of everything. I felt my eyes get heavy again and I began to fall asleep. I heard a click and seen Colby come in. He got in bed with me and we both laid down. Nothing happened, and I can promise that. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him closer. I breathed in his scent and let my eyes close as I slowly feel asleep again.

I woke up once again and found myself alone in bed. I rubbed my eyes and stood up from the bed. I couldn't just lay around all day, and I was in a RV most of the time. I figured why not go for a run and work out some. I went into my closet, I looked through the small white bin and grabbed a sports bra and shorts. I then grabbed a pair of shoes and brought them back into the room.

I got dressed and walked around a bit looking for my sweater. I couldn't find it so I went to Colby's room. I knocked on the door. "Who is it?" I heard from the other side of the closed door. "Me, Alexis." I heard a bit of shuffling and then heard a click as the door started opening.

"Yeah?" He asked. I stood there for a second just looking at him. "Do you have my sweater, like, did I leave it in here?" I asked. He looked around with a weird face and then let me in. "I don't think so, we can check." I nodded and we walked in. He shut the door and we began to look around.

We couldn't find it and I pouted. "Maybe I left it on the RV or its still in the suitcase." He nodded and went to his closet and grabbed a sweater. "Wanna borrow one of mine?" He held up a sweater and I nodded. He handed it over and I slipped in on over my head.

"Going for a workout?" I nodded and sat down at his computer desk. "Okay, well be safe okay?" I nodded and walked out. I went back to my room and slipped on my shoes. I then ran down the stairs and out the door to my car. I got in and started driving to a trail that I could run on.

I parked the car and got out. I drank a bit of water and then I started playing my playlist to run to. I put in my earbuds and started running. The music kept me in a steady beat as I made my way up the trail. I seen somebody I recognized and they seen me. He ran over and stopped me. I paused my music.

"Hey Lexi, What you doing?" He asked with a smile. "Hey Brennen, welp, if you couldn't tell, I am jogging, I went on the trip with Colby and then and never got to go run." He nodded his head and looked me up and down. "Is that Colby's sweater?" I nodded and laughed. "I lost mine so he gave me his. Kinda sad I lost mine but it's okay, I'll eventually find it." He nodded.

"Do you mind if I join you?" I shook my head smiling. "Join, it's always good to run with a partner." He nodded and we went jogging together. It was better to jog with him and talk. "So How was the trip? Anything fun?" I nodded my head smiling. "You have no idea, you should really watch the videos, there's a lot of them. A lot of stuff happened and most of it was dumb." He chuckled and we reached the top.
