"N-no! T-this is not r-real!" i said at tumayo sa may swing.

Sunod-sunod na ang pagtulo ng luha ko.

"Scarlet, this is me. I'm alive." he said at may tumulo na ring kuha sa mata nya.

"K-kuya! Y-your a-alive! H-how?" sabi ko at niyakap sya.

Humagulgol lang ako sa balik at nya habang yakap-yakap sya.

It's been 8 years, this can't be real!

Matagal ng patay ang kuya ko!

I saw it with my own eyes! Kitang-kita ko kung pano pinahirapan ng mga hayop na ang kuya ko.

"How? W-what h-happened? Do they already knew about this? I mean, Mom and Dad." sunod-sunod kong tanong sa kanya.

Humiwalay ako sa yakap at tinignan sya sa mata.

How did he survive?

"No, they still didn't know. Scarlet, I miss you." he said and hug me tight.

"How did you survive?" I ask him.

"It's a long story, Scarlet." he said and kiss my forehead.

"I miss you so much, Kuya. We miss you. Akala talaga namin patay kana. It's been years. 8 years, Kuya. What happened to you? How did you survive?" I ask him again. "Mom and Dad should know this! They will be happy." I said.

"I miss you, too, baby. I miss Mom and Dad. It's a long story. Can we go to Mom and Dad places?" he ask.

"Of course, Kuya. Kumain kana ba? How are you feeling? Wala namang masakit sayo? Ano?" I ask him to assure that he's fine.

"Yes, baby. I'm fine. And yes, i'm hungry. Gusto ko na ulit matikman ang luto ni Mom." he said and I chuckled.

*30 minutes*

Oh My Gosh! I'm so nervous. What if mahimatay si Mom o kaya si Dad?

Ano kayang reaction nila pag nakita nila si Kuya na humihinga pa at buhay na buhay?

"Kuya, i'm so scared." i said at lumapit sa braso nya.

"Baby, its fine. Don't worry. I know that they will be happy to see me." he said and kiss my forehead and hug me tight.

At saktong pagsabi ni kuya nun, biglang bumukas ang pintuan.

Niluwa nun ay si Jack? At si Tito at Tita.

I'm sure na narinig nila yung sinabi ni Kuya. Baka iba ang isipin nila. At naabutan pa nila kaming magka yakap.

Humiwalay ako sa yakap.

"Jack? Tita? Tito? Good Evening po. Bakit po napabisita kayo?" i ask them at nagmano na rin.

"Hija, nakauwi kana pala. Mauna na kami sa inyo." sabi ni Tita at umalis na kasama si Tito.

"Sige po. Ingat po kayo." i said and bid goodbye.

Narinig ko na ang pagandar ng makina. Nakaalis na siguro.

"Baby, lets go. I'm excited to meet Mom and Dad." sabi ni kuya.

Napatango na lang ako kay Kuya.

"Jack?" i called him.

"What?" he said in a cold voice.

"Do you want to stay for just one night?" i ask him.

Please say yes. Gusto pa kitang makasama.

"No. I better leave, ayokong makaistorbo sa inyo." he said in a cold voice, at talagang dining nya pa ang salitang 'makaistorbo'.

"No, it's not what you t---" he cut me off.

"I don't care. Remember?" he said and left.

"Oh, i forgot." I said and smile bitterly.

Pinahid ko na ang luha sa mata ko bago pa mapansin ni Kuya.

"Lets go, Kuya." i said at nauna ng pumasok sa loob.

"Scarlet, I will just stay here." he said at naupo sa sofa.

"Okay. Wait for us here." sabi ko at tinubgo ang kitchen.

And i guess right, dito ko sila matatagpuan.

"Mom, Dad, I want you to meet someone." sabi ko na nakaagaw ng atensyon nila.

"Someone? Your boyfriend? I will not allow that. You already have Jack." Dad said at tinuloy ang pagpindot sa laptop.

"No, dad! Hindi ko ipagpapalit si Jack!" i said.

"Who is it, sweetheart?" my mom ask.

I'm so nervous! Baka pagtawanan nila ako. Sabihin nila baliw ako!

"S-si..... Ano po..... S-si...." argh! pano ko ba sasabihin?

"Who is it, Scarlet?" tanong ni Dad at mukhang seryoso na sya.

"You will not believe me." i said. "I-it's K-kuya." sabi ko at tumulo na naman ang luha ko.

"What, sweetheart? May hustisya na ba para sa kuya mo?" Mom said, i can feel her voice is cracking.

"No, Mom." i said. "K-kuya, he is a-alive." sabi ko at tinignan sila sa mukha.

"Sweetheart, we know that you misses your brother. We miss him, too. At di rin namin mapigilan na hilingin na sana buhay pa sya ngayon." My dad said.

"No! He's alive! He's breathing! He's fine!" sabi ko sa kanila at tinuro ang sala.

"He's right there." sabi ko pa.

"M-mom, D-dad?" tawag ni Kuya sa kanila at niyakap sila ng mahigpit.

"Jesus! Oh my god! What happened to you? H-how? How are you?" My mom asked and give my brother a long tight hug.

"What happened to you, Gavin? Your alive! H-how?" My dad said ang hug him too.
