Last night was awesome. To be able to Bri home just in time for Emma's wedding and the fact she seems to be happy to be with us made this night even more sweet. I know Tess was afraid but she got through it and ended up having a really good time with us while we were able to start a bond with our daughter and family. This is important not just to me but for Bri to understand she belongs here, she has people that want and love her. More importantly that no one here will hurt her or mistreat her like the Senator and his wife did. As far as I'm concerned they aren't family for Tess and Bri. They mean less than nothing to me and I will do everything to make sure they never get their claws into either of them again.

Blake stayed with us last night, a request from Georgia so he didn't come searching for Emma. She's determined to make sure the groom doesn't see the bride until she's walking down the aisle. Yeah, good luck with that. We tried to help, the first couple hours were bad, Blake was plotting left and right on how he would get into see Emma. After several beers and a bottle of whiskey he decided this was the night to tell me about everything he did growing up to be close to Emma. I'm not kidding when I say that I had a hard time not punching the guy when I discovered all the things he did and I didn't know. He really did love her from the beginning.

"Where's Tess and Bri?" Speak of the devil! Blake comes in dressed in his tux the emerald tie hanging around his neck. Emma didn't want ordinary. Black tuxedos for everyone black bow ties for all of us but Blake. She said she wanted a green tie that match Blake's eyes. She found it, a dark emerald green.

"They went to Georgia's to do the girl thing and help Emma get ready. I think Georgia was excited to show Bri her dress. She got it right after I talk to her about hoping to have Bri by now. I think she was hoping that too." I tell him. "You look pretty good for a dumb jock! You ready for this? You sure you're ready to marry my baby sister?"

"I've never been ready for her. I just have loved her as long as I can remember and I can't see my life without her. Thanks by the way, for not kicking my ass last night when I spilled my guts. I know you wanted to." Blake grins one of his most sincere smiles and grips my shoulder. "I promise, you won't regret my marrying her."

"I know. If you fuck up Emma will just make your life hell. That's your problem after today, not mine." I tell him and we both laugh.

The other boys arrive and we get Blake finished getting ready for this. My mom is with the girls and Chloe and Isabelle are at the field with the kiddos directing the caterers, rental company setup and meeting the minister. Blake hired a huge security team to help us keep the media and fans away. To even get near the field an invitation is required, otherwise you can't get in. They also have a list of the wedding party, caterers and such so we got it all covered. Emma wanted simple, but I think with this world of Blake's simple isn't as easy as she would like. This is going to be a huge learning curve for her. I just hope she's up for it.

I haven't seen or heard anything from Grace since I saw her at the house after the bachelor party mishap. She stayed so far away from me and won't speak to me. I'm hoping I can talk to her today and make things better between us. I don't know what to do to fix this. Maybe I can't but I have to try. She's the girl for me. I know it.

Tyler and Derrick are standing with the males of this family around the breakfast bar shot glasses lined up and a $500 bottle of whiskey Alan brought with him. This is it. I walk over and join them to listen to the stories of Blake's antic to get her. I can see the anticipation on Blake's face, he just wants to see Emma. I get it now loving that one girl and nothing else matters. I get it.
