This morning just like every other morning was boring and suffocating for Cleopatra, she woke up with a tired groan, the rays of the sun blinding her eyes in the process, she turned and turned but the sound of the early morning rooster didn't let her sleep.

Blasted rooster, she thought as she covered her ears with a pillow.

"Someone's in a grumpy mood". Cleopatra jumped up at the sound of Aaron's voice

"Um Good morning". Cleopatra croaked as she tiredly left the bed and went into the bathroom to freshen up.

After freshening up,she glided back to the room and sat on her favorite rocking chair, she closed her eyes and sighed, another day of boredom.

"I am travelling today". Aaron said as he took his briefcase and left her without any more explanation.

She was speechlessly happy, she felt blessed to be away from her husband, she wished it could be for eternity but she knew not to hope for the impossible.
She stood up from her rocking chair, leaving it to rock itself as she looked through the window.
Her husband had just entered his car and drove off and she already thought of everything she could do .She knew she would be digging her own grave if she went out but she couldn't stop the feeling of adrenaline inside her and she knew she had to go out to let out some steam.

Now Maria had walked in with a grin on her face.

"I know what you're thinking Madam". Maria smiled as she looked at her Madam's face.

"Maria can you take me out". Cleopatra asked as Maria laughed, she knew her Madam loved the outside world, which made her question why her Boss locked her up so much.

"Of course Madam but we have to be very discreet this time". Maria said quietly.

And just like that Cleopatra was sneaking out of the house with her side kick Maria, as they ran through the back gates and into the busy streets.

Soon they were tired of running so they stopped at a park where there were few people walking around.

"Do you want to do something today Madam". Maria asked her favourite Madam.

"No,you". Cleopatra asked and maria nodded.

"I have always wanted to go to a the silver gates, its a very peaceful meadow where people go to see the canaries, the woodpeckers and the humming birds". Maria rambled as they walked along the park.

"You like birds".Cleopatra asked as Maria nodded.

"Take me there". Cleopatra said softly as Maria's face lit up with excitement.

"You're not going to be disappointed Madam,I promise". Maria chirped as they walked into the woods.

Soon every where was covered with trees and more trees,Cleopatra looked up in the sky and closed her eyes as she walked, she felt so safe,so calm and so at peace.
She opened her eyes and found Maria staring at her.

"We're here". Maria smiled as she pointed to a sign that said silver gates.
There was a security guard dressed in black and this made Cleopatra remember that she has left home, she hoped that no one had figured out she was missing, she hoped her bodyguards didn't find out.
The security guard opened the gates with a vibrant smile as the duo walked in.
Cleopatra gasped at the scenery, it was so beautiful,so lively and so surreal.
She couldn't believe there could be a place so magnificent, she was enchanted.
Even Maria was taken by the environment, the plant were ever so green, the grasses were well nurtured and there were flowers of different kind; dandelions, daisies,Genevieve, sunflower they were all there waiting to be plucked.
